12rdude.. what did you do?? lol

For some stupid reason, when I come down a little hard from a wheelie the back of my fender gets caught on my LSL Steering Damper. This drives the front of my fender in the front tire melting it. It's the second dammed time I've done it. What's even funnier is that this happened to guy over in the XB forum and he (and no one else) could figure out what happened. It looks really wierd I'll tell ya. But we finally figured out we all had the LSL damper and put two and two together. Anyhow I'm on my third fender now. See........I told ya not to ask. ha-ha

Ok Sorry every one I have been away from my computer for a couple days.

IF YOU ARE COMING FROM EAST OF 94 and 23: Bring 94 West bound to Rawsonville RD exit. Take a left or south bound. Stay in the right hand lane and drive over a bridge. The next road is Textile. Take a right or W/B on textile. Take Textile for several miles until you pass a closed grocery store. The next two things on the right is a UAW hall then a fire station. Right after the fire station is Mohawk. Turn right or N/B. I will put some sort of sign out front. (like my bike)

FROM THE NORTH OR WEST: Bring 23 South to 94 east, (or just 94 east). Take 94 east to the second exit past 23 which is Huron/Whittaker. Turn right or south bound. Stay on Whittaker untill you reach Textile. Stay in the left lane on Whittaker, because it takes a funny split after the strip mall. Turn left or E/B on Textile. Come approx 1 mile and 1/2 right before a fire station is Mohawk. Turn left or N/B (bike will be parked in front of house).

Any question hit me up on my cell 734-368-8868. So far I have blackbelt, swampy, peppe, and jugs. Any one else, I am still trying to figure out the food situation.

Thanks

No one up for hitting the trails on their Buell's I posted about earlier? : ( What about trails on a mountain bike? I just got a new bike, used to ride freestyle BMX now I got a Front suspension mountain bike and hit the local trails up at the parks in Holt/Lansing. Don't know of any parks with trails down in south eastern (ypsi) area. Any of you ride?

There are a ton of sweet mountain bike trails in and around Ann Arbor for Mountain bikes. I would hit some up with you some time. There is also the 20 mile loop up by Pickney which is rated in the top 3 trails in Michigan for Mountain Bikes.

None of us really have Uly's to hit up the trails on motorcycles.

You can mapquest 1950 w 68th st Baldwin MI 49304-it will give correct directions and map location is correct but the street numbers up there do NOT match mapquest. Terrible1one3,
I think I have the only other Ulysses here. I haven't even been on a dirt road with it yet, so I'm not going on trails any time soon.

Well I figured I should post here first since you are the local buell minorities. Let me keep it short and sweet. I finally have the money to purchase a buell. I have wanted a buell since i took my MSF course when i was 17. I am now 21 5'7" 29 or so inseam and 150lbs and looked at a few xb's, the scg in general. I realized that after the 10K price tag I will have to spend at least 1500 in gear. So really I have started to look at the tubers, and almost like them more than the xb. I have never rode a buell before, and the only bikes i have rode before are nighthawks, sportsters, and I4 repli-racers. I want a loud v twin with torque. So if anyone knows or has a tuber to sell in interested. Also if anyone knows of a site to compare the s,x,m let me know....... Thanks I have been lurking for a while

You should PM Blackbelt, he has a 2002 Lightening X1 special edition. Last of the tube frames. He is letting it go for a very reasonable price.
