I've got a cold thats been clearing up. I'm hoping it's gone in the morning, and if it is the Girl and I are going riding. I know Spike is meeting U4 something tomorrow. What are the details of that? We may tag along part of the way if thats ok.

As of yet there are no details, other than my brother in law meeting me at my house in Fuquay-Varina around 9am and heading towards the Uwharrie from there. I'm hoping we'll meet up with U4euh once we get down there, but I haven't heard from him. Neither my brother in law nor I are familiar with that area, so we'll be winging it from that point on. Any are welcome to join, just give me a call on my cell (919-271-7109) and we'll come up with some place to meet.

The xb will be going back to the shop tomorrow, with the same non-charging issue. It's a bit beyond my ability, tools, and know how, so I am crying Uncle. I'm gonna let the Greensboro shop take a crack at it, but never again will I take it to High Point. My first choice would be Ray Price, but too much gas and Sunday time on my one day off. I'm hoping it will be up to snuff for the junior ride. I'll let you know what comes up. Later...

Well I had to go to work, missing two manager's due to unforseen circumstances. But Spike, Jinance, and Spike's brother showed up@ AZ. I gave them a hand drawn map of some of my favorite routes.
Man that KTM SuperDuke is one BADA$$ looking bike!!!!!! And from what little chicken strips were left on a brand new bike, it must like corners just as well as the XB's!!

Guys I hope you had a great ride and didn't get lost. Seen you leaving at about 5:20ish.
Can't wait to hear the story.

Brankin, Sorry I knew it was your birthday, but back at work at 2 job on almost a fulltime basis the last half of this week. SO: }HAPPY BIRTHDAY

Hope you will have enough left for the next ride!!!

Jim, we had a good day yesterday. Thanks for the map, it was a great help. I remember some of those roads from riding with you, Mike, and Rebecca.

I got to Mikes house yesterday and the Superduke was parked out front. Mikes brother in law also has a 999 trackbike. He did 16 trackdays laster year. When I heard that I was worried all I would see would be tail lights. But it worked out well. We road your map for about 2 hours and then went into Albemarle for lunch. Lunch was a relaxed affair at Sagebrush. We left at about 3:30 and went up to the top of Morrow Mtn. Then decided to head strait home. We road back to Sanford where I split off and came home. It's been about a month since I've had a day like that. It was good.

Man, Saturday was an awesome ride! Special thanks to Jim R. for getting us a map of the good roads, our wandering would have been more disorganized without them. I brought my camera along, but didn't take a single picture during the ride. I think Jim R. took a few while we were stopped at AZ, maybe he can post them for us.

Of course, after my brother in law and I got back to my house I had to partake in some post-ride Z50 nonsense:

After that our wives sent us out to get dinner, and since my brother in law was wearing his leathers and didn't bring a change of clothes we decided to make the most of it:

Kristi hope you get better soon.
Hope everyone else is good.

Damn mike, your beard has by far overtaken mine!
Looks like too much fun was had by all. Nothing beats the look people give you when you drive a car with a helmet on.

Did some good riding Saturday and Sunday morning, then promptly got sick as a dog Sunday and still have a fever and all sorts of problems.

I'm still hobbling, but nothing is broken/fractured, only sore. The radiologist things I hit it hard enough to bruise the bone. Leave it to me to have more of an injury just walking to my truck. I think the fact that I realized I was going down and took the fall instead of dropping or landing on Luke made it a really hard fall.

is now a club listed on Buell.com!! The link takes you right here to C3 in Storm Fronts.

Since we're not a BRAG club anymore, I just listed my name/contact info since I'm the self-designated cruise director/BIC.

New Program on BadWeb - Pay It Forward. Check it out.

Pay It Forward is a forum of good will. The focus of Pay It Forward is to help BadWebbers that are in need of gear or parts. Most of us have spare parts or gear that are collecting dust or taking up room in the closet or garage. Why not share with your fellow BadWebbers. These items are not for sale, that’s what the classifieds are for. Those receiving items are responsible for shipping cost unless other arrangements are made between the two parties involved.

You can post parts or gear you wish to offer and/or post your need of gear or parts. You may also send a PM to Ulywife or e-mail directly to ncgirl (at) earthlink (dot) net. Our main focus is good basic street gear for adult riders and their children who may ride with them. Parts are generally offered to those who have gone down and will help get their bike back on the road again with minimal out of pocket expense.

The catch to Pay It Forward is just that, Pay It Forward when you can in the future. If you have received parts or gear and are no longer in need of said item, it should be passed to the next person as long as the item is still in good condition. These items should not be sold as it totally defeats the purpose of Pay It Forward.

Currently the Pay It Forward project has three custodians: Molly_hatchet (Brian), Tx05xb12s (Philip) and Ulywife (Kristi). You can find the Pay It Forward thread in with the RAN. This will only allow registered BadWebbers to gain access to this forum. Remember, you must be signed in to view the RAN/Pay It Forward Section. We welcome any comments or suggestions and hope that this is just the beginning of Pay It Forward.

Thanks to all who have played a part in making Pay It Forward a reality!

I just changed the oil in the Blast. I had a quart of the new oil in when I realized the old filter was still on the bike. You know what? You can still take the oil filter off with oil in the tank. ;)

yeah that is one of the great things about a dry sump oil system the oil tank is completely separate from the engine unless it is running.

Got a call from the shop yesterday. The stator IS bad, so they say. And yes, I did use Mobil 1 for over a year. Should have it back on the road by next weekend. Really bites...bike only has around 10,000 miles.

How would everyone like to do a Michael's run on May 27th? There is a Burger King just off of US#1 that could be a good grouping spot for a ride up to Chapel Hill. After eating and oogling the bikes we can go exploring around Lake Jordan until everyone needs to head home. Tell me to start a thread in C3 Adventures if there is interest.

Fly - You lucky dog.

Mike - I like the fore-thought. I don't do that. I seriously doubt that I will make the Adv ride on May 19th, so I was talking to Webe about something in around that time frame. So I am a definite maybe.

We were talking about a ride to Kerr Lake in early June. Webe is from Henderson so he knows the area. No firm plans, just talking at this point.

I have to remain in the tentative column at this point, but I think I could make Michaels on the 27th. Let me know if it's a go and I'll do what I can to firm things up on my end.
