Hey Bill.. Good to see ya here again! If you look at some of the earlier posts, you'll see a couple of rides planned to hit Williamsport with some 'True Blue Buelligans', I'm sure you can join in with one of those and have a great ride up there! Have you checked the 'Buell Sponsored Track Day' thread? I think you'd get a big kick out of coming out and riding with us on that track.. It is a killer facility! See you Saturday! | ||

Ras, I agree the route is a bit of a pain due to the traffic, but once you hit the seven sisters, you forget all about it! I was just over at Balto HD mentioning the demo route and was told they are looking to change it so that there are less red lights on the way over to the twisties. I shall await your review of the new and improved route, Ras  | ||

Now that I have the S2 home (comfort, AND saddlebags!), all I have to do is convince the wife...and get the time off. Definitely interested, though. One thing at a time though. Have to make myself get up in time to make it to Sportfest tomorrow, LOL. Joe <---NOT a morning person! | ||

Looks like a 14 hour drive from my place to East Troy so I'm planning on using a trailer and getting a second mortgage for the gas.  I was hoping we could drive up in a semi-organized fashion just for safety purposes, in case anyone breaks down ,etc. Maybe, stop for lunch | ||

I'm glad folks enjoyed the show at Williamsport. I'm afraid we were a little disorganized (especially around the Battletrax course) and I apologize for that...and I'm most sorry I didn't get a chance to meet many folks while we were out there. Although I have to say we did have a heckuva ride out there in the morning (even with Special Ed being a goofball on his VFR)! Blublak - any word on the pics yet? Can't wait to see how s***ty my form was on the course, LOL! | ||

We had a great time at Sportfest. The guys at Psychobuells were awesome, they gave us a tour of their bikes and we enjoyed talking to them. I don't think the weather could have been better the first day of the year where quite a few people should have used sun block. I was out yesterday on a ride to highpoint with the DCSB.com guys. They have a Frederick noob route I'd like to go on with a few of you. Almost a perfect day, on the last run we had a guy go down (fortunately on a perfect spot - grassy & soft)at the end of the ride. ------Unrelated-------- Question: How fast do you have to go to get both wheels off the ground? Answer: On the right road, not fast all all. I think I was doing 45-50mph AIRBORNE! | ||

Hey Rat, I'm still sorting some of the shots.. A lot of nice 'action' pics from the stunt show and of course folks running the 'battle of the bikes' course. How about, as my 'liason' with the dealer.. Once I get rid of the junk, I'll burn you a CD and you can TAKE IT HOME (this time) and take a look.. then, if the boss ain't gonna pay for anything, we'll work something out between us. (can you say new bag?) What'cha think? Ramon, Cool, glad you had a good ride.. as for getting both wheels off the ground.. uh, depending on where you are, it can be done at really low speeds. ok, its ALMOST done....bolted on the last two parts last Friday @ 545am...was in Lake City Fla. (849 miles ) by 845 pm that night. Got first place in sport bike class. i will try to load a few pics.. camera phone though  | ||
