Since BRAG is done and the dealership still wants to sponsor a club. Any body have an idea for a name?
I thought of Northern S.O.B.s Or Northern Sons of Buell.
Let me know.

I thought this would be a cool ride. Check out the terrain in Google Earth. There are even better roads in that area if you have a Uly and want to take the gravel.

What? Brag is done? Thats too bad, I really liked the $50 atlas. I guess I'm clueless as I didn't update my address. What are the details on the dealership club? Dues? Still riding first Saturdays of the month?

I only noticed that BRAG was done because I looked at the Chicago area group and they were talking about it. Then I also realized Buell has a new bike.

Whatever you call the new club just make sure you get tight leather vests with big patches. Bummer I won't be around for that. And don't forget to have a secret handshake or something else cool like that.

I talked with the Buell corp people and BRAG was canned due to lack of Buell owner participation. Too many owners bitched about BRAG but did not become proactive in their local clubs.
I see it as a good thing. Buell owners can get together and not have to worry about some one dictating what direction a club can go. I already registered my club as Nordic Sons of Buell... N.S.O.B. I just wanted to see what would happen.
I still want to get together and watch Daytona.

Good work Nils, someone has to keep things going and you've always done a great job. Let us know the plans for watching Daytona, that's my last weekend living in MN and I should be able to spare a few hours from packing to drink beer somewhere.

I saw a bike out riding today, so jealous! Mine is in the garage behind about 50 boxes of crap.

I almost took mine out today, but it was getting dark, and our alley is still icy. Eric, you called the other day, and I called back, but we were playing phone tag. Before you leave, Julie and I would like to take you two out for dinner. If you'd like to camp with us for Homecoming, we could make plans. We'll be sure to bring lots of bacon.

Lou,
Missed your call last night.
I was in the hospital, got home this morning.
I'll post on my adventure later.
Talking is a bit tough right now, I'll give you a call in a day or so as things get better.

Sorry Lou, was living in three states last week, kinda crazy right now! Thanks for the offer but the wife already moved and started working last week. I'll be around for a few weeks but am traveling a lot for work and to Chicago on weekends. I think the best bet is if we can all get together for Daytona somewhere.

Brad, what on earth did you do??? My new boss at the GO likes Buells!

Lou, Eric,
I had my tonsils removed and a UPP procedure done.
It hurts like hell.
I'm going to be real sick of pureed soup and pudding real soon.

However, I should be good to go for a Daytona get together!

Brad - I had my tonsils out last year, so I know what its like.

I had to rush to the emergency room in the middle of the night about a week afterward when the scabs came off and they started to bleed - a LOT. I don't want to gross anybody out, but when I say "a LOT" suffice it to say I was worried I might bleed to death if we didn't get to the hospital fast.

Having your throat cauterized (while conscious) is not fun. So be careful and follow the doctors orders.

If any of you or your kids ever have to have surgery for TMJ. In a couple of the old medical books there are pictures of both of my surgeries. Talk about gross.
Any ideas about where we want to go for the Daytona 200?

Brad, hope you're feeling better. I know this company that makes good soups and if you like tomato there's a really good one. If you're at work, stop by the company store and pickup some Muir Glen Hearty Tomato, really good stuff.

Nils, for the Daytona last year at the place in Roseville worked ok I thought. Otherwise the Bulldog was fine too if you prefer that.

Eric,
I've been living off pureed soup for the last week.
Me and tomato soup don't get along too well. It seems to be to acidic for me.
Not many things give me heartburn but's one on the short list.
I've hear from others that the Muir Glen stuff is really good.

Regarding Daytona, the place in Roseville changed hands again.
I can't remember what it's called now.
Anywhere is cool for me!

bad news...I will not be able to plan or join you guys in watching the Daytona 200. Something has come up and I won't be in town. I think Nut Sack Racing will be holding their annual Daytona 200 party at Black Dawg bar and grill in Burnsville.
Sorry.

Plan is same as last year. Brad and I are planning on meeting at Major's in Roseville (used to be KFAN, used to be Big City). It's on Snelling north of Cty Rd C (north of hwy 36, south of 694). Lunch about noon, races 12:30 to 2pm.

See ya there,
Eric

We go riding the first Saturday of the month, starting in May.
The group meets at St Paul Harley at 8:00am. Come with a full tank of gas and dressed for the weather- riding.
The group leaves at 8:30.
Hope to see you there.

Nils forgot something. . .
Congratulations guys! And, yes, I'm always up for a ride, especially out in that neck of the woods. Maybe next weekend? Drop a note and we'll see what we can do.
Karl
P.S. any takers on starting group rides in April?

We'll see what we can work out. Easter next weekend will for sure take sunday, but maybe Saturday too. After that, though, weekends should be mostly clear.
Anyone have a digital tech, or similar? I need to zero my tps, and should probably check timing too. Apparently New Richmond only took care my warranty work, and not the maintenance I wanted done as long as the bike was already there.
