I am up if the bike is ready. Still not been out there to check it. will try to get out today or the next day. I would think it should be ready by saturday.

I can always drag it back in the house and work on it at night....That will get the little women all worked up...hehehehehe

was that fella riding a 98 s1 with a busted up tail piece? that's the only tuber i've seen around n.b.
westport has some fine riding, take hixbridge road east from 88, there is a crazy jump, take it at 50, small bridge and a rise, bam, you can get a good six inches of air at least!
btw, finally worked out the electrical gremlins i've been stressin! combination starter relay, clutch switch and neutral indicator issue, boo!
finally i can start the beast without pushing it!!! (bypassing clutch switch for now till i get a new one) purchased new relay for $5.oo !!! at nonbuell harley dealer big boar in westport, i brought the old one in and told them it was for a sportster, if they only knew they were providing customer service for a buell owner, mwahahahaha!
maybe we'll see you folks saturday then, i do have to work but i'll try to get out early!: )

I will be there saturday!!!

I think my bike is okay to go. I would like to check one of youz guyzes bikes to see.

I may be just over paranoid on the sounds it is making in the front end...It is not shaking any more so that is a start.

Thompson sounds like a good ride...

What is with the Goofy guy in the NEBO logo? Shouldn't he be riding a bike or something?

disappointment...BCM Ducati,a VERY reputable dealer in NH is trying to dissuade me from spending $1400 on a big bore kit+$1700-$2200 for cams. The reason being, for the money invested, the bike would go from 106 to about 125max HP.In order to surpass 130HP i'd need porting/polishing at an additional $2200.140 HP would cost close to 10K!!!!This was reinforced by one of the worlds premier Ducati engine builders here>>>>http://www.moto-one.com.au/performance/index.html# mods

I was advised that for my $5k max budget i'd get the most bang by installing carbon fiber wheels thus reducing unsprung weight by over 15 pounds.I'll take that advice and merely reassemble and correct the coolant leak.Maybe buy a 1096 in the near future.I'm not too disappointed,i just thought i could get BIG BOOM out of what i thought....oh welllll

Ya mean A 1098?

How about a 100hp Blast for roughly 500.00?
Push Button Style of Course....

How about a Turbo Kit? Should put you near 140hp.

Yea I know there History...They had poor leadership and were disorganized most times. Not to mention they were more a massachusetts towns/cities thing, more than a New England thing..But there were some in Ct/Nh also..so maybe.?

WTF......... ask your kids, they'll tell ya!!!

WTF do they (minutemen) have to do with Motorcycles/ridding?

MAybe he needs to trade in his matchlocks for a bike..

I like the NEBO lettering in #1...

I think the get together will be at lowell's for breakfast and the ride will be in the Thompson,CT. area.

It is where MA,CT, And RI join. It is a pretty sweet area to ride, Alot of good twisties.

Some of the best roads around.

Well I suggest a we meet ~12-1 and do an afternoon ride. It will be warmer and I have shit to do, literally I have to fix a broken toilet, in the morning.

Those closer to Bristol can meet with Ducxl and ride up to lowell's. Those closer to Taunton can meet with me and ride up. Lowell's is on Rt 140 in Bellingham.

Saturday is forecast increasing cloudiness.I may take the opportunity to travel up to BCM Ducati in Laconia NH to inquire further about my 996 Hi-PO desires.I came into this thing expecting to spend $5k max.I'm now somewhat persuaded(by my wife!) to "go all the way" and spend $10k and also get a port&polish($2200) and Titanium rods/reworked crank and Carbon fiber wheels. I have soooo many factory tools for this 996 it's gonna' stick around awhile anyway.Lighter&more powerful...hhhmmmmmmmm.

I agree!!!! although the article on the 1098 vs the 999 is pretty interesting....

The 999 was a better/quicker runner...

I'll be out riding... I need some seat time.

Ya know there is this thing out called a "Telephone".

Refinance a 996? Why not upgrade to a better model?

If you dump the coin into it it is still only worth a 996....reguardless

Upgrade to a 999/1098, I vote on the 1098....They are sooooo sexy!

Then I can try before you buy......

Not sure who is up for a ride saturday.

Duc, I assume you will be in NH

dam, You fixin a $hitter, all of 2 bolts and a wax gasket, should be quick I would think.
you in/out?

I need to be home for 3:30-4:00 to bring the in-laws for dinner, it is there aniv.

I will most likely leave around 10-11'ish to go play in the normal area's.(ma,ct,ri)

If others wish to ride I am willing to meet someplace, maybe do a Brunch or something before heading out.

Saturday is the only nice day for a couple days so I need to take advantage of it.

Well as much as i would like to head out and meet up with you guys, time constraints and a bathroom floor wont allow me a half day trip. Was looking at a local ride, for a couple of hours or so.

68eb429, usually our rides are pretty short. They normally don't take more then 2 hours or so. We usually meet up in Bellingham then head over to the RI, CT, MA boarder for the ride. It is a good time, maybe the bathroom floor could wait a day or two. Sunday's weather looks like a great day for home improvements.

Sorry that I will not be able to make it. I work on Saturdays.
