We had 14 this past time. I'm going to ask Jean if we can put 16 this time. There is PLENTY of room, the concern is the septic tank. As soon as I talk to her early next week, I'll post again and start with a committed head count.

This is gonna be fun! No work and no alarm clocks!

I think she'll agree to 16 because we've kept a relationship going since last year and she knows that we take care of her cabin and understand about septic tank use/abuse.

i'm in for buelltoberfest! i'm a camper, though. i'll be chillin' with the campfire at TWO. should be a few 3%ers camping then, too. early october isn't brutal cold, yet.

This will be our first Buelltoberfest. It will happen in October in Suches GA. Each March the 3%er's along with Stone Mountain HD/Buell host a weekend of Buell demo rides (see March Badness III and IV for past adventures).

Since we always have such a good time, we've decided to try and do something with C3 and the 3%er's in October. The advantage this time, is that the 3%er's won't have to work all weekend and can come out and play in the mountains.

You can check out Buelltoberfest on the main Storm Fronts as well. There are BadWebbers coming from other places as well.

Thanks, Ulywife - I've poked around for Buelltoberfest and found a bunch of scattered threads. Sorry, I really don't "get" BadWeb's format.

So from what I gather there's a couple Buelltoberfest accomodations, like C3 Central and C3 Outpost (?) which appear to be full. So if I were to get a cabin or room or hotel or something around Suches would that be my best bet?

Other than that, sounds like the main course is Twisties with a side order of sitting around drinking telling stories about how cool we are. How'my doin'??

A few more clues and I might be able to pull the trigger and commit. Ulywife seems to have the answers but please, anyone feel free to help me out.

You're doing just fine! Currently C3 Central and C3 Outpost are full (meaning, I want to go), but we haven't collected money yet, so space may be available. I'll know more within the next month. Stay tuned and I'll keep you posted. I need to ask the owner of C3 Central about our capacity for this year. The cabin is plenty big enough, the concern is how many people can the septic tank handle without being a problem.

You will find that this group has many levels of riders. The one thing that is stressed to everyone is "RIDE YOUR OWN RIDE". No one will be left behind. Trust me, Carlos (M2nc) can ride one way when he's solo, but when I'm with him, we're be bringing up the back of the pack!

Carlos and Mike spent the night there last year before heading to Suches. The bunk house was $21/night. You get a place to sleep and a shower - no frills, but the price is right!
