Has anyone attended the ROT rally in Austin? I am contemplating attending this year. I gather its probably more along the lines for cruisers, but some might say I ride like a grandma, but when I do I let people by…..(don’t I micah?)... So I guess I would enjoy it.

Anyway, my dilemma is, whether or not its worth the 50 bucks registration if you are not going to camp out? I’ll probably be going down Friday afternoon, I would like to be in the ride to down town.

Just wanted to see if anyone has ever attended and has anything good/bad to say about it.

Don't know if you made it down there this year or not. But I went in 06 and I didn't think it was worth the $. I mean, on one hand, it's good to support the event so it will continue but on the other, there seemed to be PLENTY of fun to be had downtown. The fairgrounds were just plain hot and there didn't seem to be enough there to feel worth the money if you aren't camping.
