Had to shake the rust off the bike and make sure all is good and tight. Bike handles awsome with the new items this year! can't wait to tear up the mountains...... Washed the bike so she looks purdy. Next on the list for tomorrow: Check the trailer. Buy me a steak at the butcher and freeze it for thrusday. I think I need to reset my rear suspension... While washing the bike, I noticed a very small scrub on the license plate where the tire had just barely touched... guess I am cornering harder than I thought! Was on the road for about 12 hours (but many stops) just building up endurance and making sure everything is working properly. I went out to some truely twisty roads for the first time on this bike. Man is that a blast! Chicken strips are getting smaaaalllleeeerrr. I have to work today and tomorrow, then I'm off til next Wednesday. I woke up this morning with a grin on my face, these goobers here at the office can't get me down with their petty nonsense, it's time they got to work, because they know if they have any questions, they have very little time to ask, because once I leave out of here tomorrow afternoon, I'll be unreachable. It's just a light drip right now, but who knows how long that'll last. If the dealership has the gasket kit in stock, I'll replace it tomorrow. If not, I'll be headed down to GA with half a gallon of Permatex Grey sealer on the front on my engine. I'd prefer NOT to ride in the snow/ ice conditions!! When I was there last Sept, there was a highly noticable temperature difference on the Cherohala. DJ, We may be there LATE Weds eve. We want to do some sight-seeing on Thurs (by motorcycle of course)!! If it is 70F in the valleys and on the Dragon it would be a safe bet you will need warmer stuff for the skyway, but it is so worth the trip. Make sure you have gas, there are no gas stations on the Skyway. It is about 30 miles up and 30 miles down the other side. Take the time to at least stop at some of the overlooks and read some of the information placards. I still find it hard to believe that around the year 1900 every tree was stripped from every mountain that can be seen from the top, and that is a Lot!   Rotzaruck Posted on Monday, March 26, 2007 - 01:09 pm:        If I'da known, could of waited and harassed smokescreen hisself, they thought he was off today, so I harassed Stephanie.
