I almost forgot to let you guys know that we'll be down in your neck of the woods next week. We'll be coming down Thu. 7/6 and staying at the Edlewiess in Eureka Springs, Thu. Fri. Sat. Good news for the Oklahoma Buell riders. I just went into Route 66 HD/Buell here in Tulsa today. The guy I talked to there was very enthusiastic about Buells and was looking for someone to head up a BRAG club. I told him I was his man and he invited me back on Monday to talk with him and the General Manager to work out the details. Tulsa WILL become a Buell stronghold if we can all just come together with a little organization. What's everyones thoughts? | ||

Sweeet stuff Drake, I am trying to do the same thing with the dealership that turned me down for a sales job. IAMIKE... yes, definitely. I am in Rogers, 45 minutes from Eureka +/- I'd like to meet up with you. I have to work Friday and am on call, but if you are up for it, I ride on Friday nights, but I am not riding this Friday night so we can probably get together sometime on Saturday. How many 'twill there be?? | ||

It looks like we have 7. If you want to meet up you can come over Fri. night & stay with us or we can wait up to meet you Sat. Last year I rode down the Pig trail but the traffic was a little heavy on Sat. Of course we'd prefer to stay on light roads. We saw some good ones that we didn't get to but a local's insight is usually better. We used maps that the owner ot the Edlewiess gave us that had the good back roads mapped out. | ||

What time would you want to leave out on Saturday Morning? The reason I was wondering was because I would like to know what time I would need to leave my house to meet you folks. If you would like to go on a real long ride or just a quick jaunt, I have one of each. Next question, how are you guys on the corners? | ||

Ahem, cough, cough. It's not that we don't like corners, most of the group are track riders but we decided to enjoy the scenery more than the cornering. And since my son just crashed his Blackbird today, my wife would appreciate me coming back in one piece. But we are definitely looking for the curves. I think that we've left about 9:00 and ride about 250-300 ea. day. If you want to come over on Sat. we'll wait up for you. I'll shoot you my phone number so you can call if there are any changes. | ||

He had a crash here at home with a girl on the back. Luckily they had helmets on and she must of rode out the slide on top of him. He broke his arm and was scraped up a bit. We heard about it Friday night while we were in Eureka Springs. Nobody on our rides while down there took any tumbles. | ||

Attention Oklahoma Buell riders: We have set the date for our first Buell Riders meeting at Route 66 Buell in Tulsa, OK. If this thing takes off, we will become a full fledged BRAG club. If you ride a Buell, or are interested, PLEASE come to the dealership on Tuesday, August 15th at 6:45. We will talk about bikes (including the NEW 2007's that have arrived), the future of the club and upcoming events. At this point we have full support from the dealership and the adjacent HOG club. DTX, that is my first day of my new job at Forman H-D in Stillwater. I think I work 'til 7:00 but if not then I will try to make it up there. The other parts guy there also rides a Buell, XB9s. Glad to see something getting put together! | ||

Well, if it doesn't work this time, we should all get together for a ride sometime soon. Maybe when this heat goes down! (106 in Tulsa today...) Could you do me a favor and tell your other Buell buddies about the club? There aren't that many of us so we might just form more of a regional group. I am hoping to get 10 guys to Tuesday's meeting. Jim, Wow, that sounds like a pretty good deal. I remember when you told me you sold that bike to that guy in Ardmore. Thing is, I still need to sell my City X and I am also seriously considering a track bike. I can't do any of this till the 05 City X is sold. I read about your departure from the dealership. Hey all! I am moving to Jonesboro next month from Minnesota, and I am looking forward to some year round motorcycle riding! No more switching to snowmobiles for a few months. I am from Vilonia about 2 1/2 hours from Jonesboro. There are not as many twisities there as there are in western arkansas or central but if you want to meet halfway sometime and ride north I am sure we could find some... | ||
