Sounds like roll call... Not dead or incapacitated yet... But I've been having some dangerous thoughts lately. Luckily none have materialized.......yet?? I need a vacation soooo bad, but I want to wait for warmer weather, and to meet Jackie in person.....the man, the myth, the legend with the yellow bike! Tank |

Our friend The_Raven has gotten 2 more Buell's out the door this last week. I'm truly bummed with this weather and cannot hardly wait until it relents. I am needing some serious ride time; let's all keep our fingers crossed for a speedy return of the Spring. NUTS |

My long lost cyber buddy Tank has returned! I thought we lost you to a BBQ tragedy or something . I know you can get crazy when grilling them ribs. How ya' been man? Is that new super computer living up to the hype? You gotta plan on coming on over this Summer so the three of us can go riding. Nuts is off Fri. through Mon. so plan your arrival around those days. We are talking about taking a trip to the semi local Triumph dealer to check out their offerings and Nuts has mapped us a route that will take us through some beautiful country. Should take the better part of the day but we can always stop at Hooters to rest up and hopefully get some memorable pics. If you buy me a large chocolate shake I may even be coerced into letting you reset your TPS while you are here just for kicks. Be good and come around more often like you used to. |

Maybe we can get a little Virginian camping thing going. There's a nice motorbike only campground in Willville. We might even be able to coerce Charlie into trailering that mighty fine cyclone up for such an event! That'd be the ticket we've all been needing. Good roads and questionable company. NUTS |

behind his Uly! <blush> Rebecca said you wrote. She didn't tell you she was holding the camera did she? Nuts - I need another trip to the garden. My bike is disassembled at the moment. The muffler is supposed to arrive today (HPC coating) so it should be good to go soon. |

Where in the crappity crap is Willville? Was that the campground you stayed at when you were headed on the trip you're not supposed to talk about? Tried Mapquest and couldn't find it. You sure this isn't another one of your Floridian mispronunciations? Kinda like Douthat State Park or Buchanan? |

Luv - try this link http://www.willvillebikecamp.com/ When are you guys thinking about this camping trip? My Dad has a cabin just miles from the campground and Carlos is wanting to get back up there for some riding. Currently the cabin is winterized, but spring will be here soon! FYI - Ferris Bueller now lives in Fancy Gap. She didn't tell you she was holding the camera did she? She told me she took the picture and that the gag was her idea! You are too much. |

Jackie, Nuts, What a relief, I thought " Roanoke Valley Fast and Loose " was drying up. Is good to hear from everybody. Jackie, don't know but one guy on the other site. He is an "Old friend of mine" he use to be involved in the racing with us about 25 yrs. ago, great guy(except he rides a BMW)and he's not slow. His name is Todd Gills and if you talk to him, tell him I said hello. We have been very busy trying to get ready for the up coming season. First race is Feb. 28 at Savannah GA. At this moment we still are not ready(new bike for the half mile tracks)still have parts being made at the machine shop. Daytona bike should be OK, all though it could a little more attention. Me telling Nuts to becareful would be falling on deaf ears. Just don't let him hit the fire trails alone, not smart. Sounds like a fun campground, let me know when your going , I might be able to get away..........Charlie |

Charlie, I see Todd about every week at the breakfasts'. I'll certainly pass along the "HELLO." I can also attest to the fact that he is not slow. His BMW with 100,000 miles runs circles around me! I'm awful glad to know he's a friend of yours and the speed you guys have comes with time.NUTS |

Seemed like a cool cat at the Gap. Top notch suspension lowering on his Uly...expensive, but nice! Sooo... Do I need to round up some soft bags and camping gear, or what. That sounds like a nice 3-4 day weekend to me! Tank |

Tank, I wouldn't swear to it but I'm pretty sure Ole' Nuts had a bit of snuff tucked into his maw during that photo session. Now the bike in the link above is sweet but mine will be the gravy. Gray frame and swingarm will give a nice accent while the yellow and black will combine for an easy (although Nuts says cheesy) on the eyes combo. At least it will differ from the current "black out" fad. Sorry to hear about your harddrive especially since you just built a new super computer. I bet the government ain't got nothing on you when it comes to high tech computer setups |

FYI - Ferris Bueller now lives in Fancy Gap. correction: Ferris Bueller and Denise (aka FB&D) now live in Fancy Gap. digging it here, 'cept the frikkin' cold and the 'frikkin wind and all the frikkin' chores to do on this frikkin' old house we bought. other than that, great to be here! Mr. Nance, got your invite via PM for the frivolities this weekend. trust me, the moto-maniac typing these words wants to ride (i've ridden exactly twice in almost three months, once for about five minutes, once for about 20, this from a guy who put 13,000 miles on his Road King in five months last year...), but for the time being this ol' house (and the fact that we typically work on the weekends - worth a little extra moolah to do so, and boy do we need the greenbacks after what we been thru the past few months) has got us duly covered up. thx for the invite, and we WILL make an appearance one of these days, just can't just yet. and please add our names to the list of peeps begging for spring. c-c-c-c-can you imagine what it's like to move out here from SoCal in the middle of winter??? correction: Ferris Bueller and Denise (aka FB&D) now live in Fancy Gap. didn't mean to leave Denise out! Hopefully we can meet up this spring and drag you away from the house just for a few hours! Glad you are getting settled in. Keep an eye on the C3 Adventure Folder. We usually have something stirring...... (Message edited by Ulywife on February 23, 2007) |

>>>>didn't mean to leave Denise out! That'd be a grave error. "D", an excellent rider in her own right, was a valued member of the Buell community years before old Ferris ever heard of Buell. I'm guessing the two of them are going to have the time of their lives with the roads near their new home. . . heck. . I'm even thinking about coming to snoop about! By the way . . . "D" is not only the "better" half of the equation but the FAR BETTER looking one.

A hearty welcome to you both. We have a wonderful Spring to look forward to, I assure you. Many miles, mucho smiles! There ends up being about a month where winter tries to keep us down; about the time cabin fever peaks it'll be time to fire 'em back up again. Just like tomorrow! Jerry&D we'll have to get you out to breakfast one Sunday Morning. Next time TVR meets in Floyd we'll accept no excuses. NUTS |

Howdy ALL! So I just hear about this ride a few minutes ago - too much work and too little time for play - but a ride today would be absolutely wonderful! My sweetie was being way too nice on my behalf, knowing I am glued to the keyboard these days. (He as well, including far too many other fires to put out). Any changes in the time of meeting? Directions to Cracker Barrell? Looking forward to meeting you all!!! D |
