Carlos, you talking to me? No, I won't be at MB. Sportstergirl from ADV mailed me with some questions about Buells, specifically the CityX with a low seat. She is out in western NC so I told her she should go to MB and testride one. That of course will only work if there is a CityX with a low seat. I did mention the Scg, and she had considered it already and passed it over for the CityX. | ||

Some of you that have been to TWO, tell me what I can expect to find when I arrive. It'll be a 16 hour drive, so I'm expecting to probably leave Thursday morning about 6:00 AM. That'll put me there somewhere around 10:00 to 12:00 that night. Will here already be a circus atmosphere with a big crowd at that time, or can I reasonably expect to be able to find parking for my truck/trailer rig and be able to get into the campsites? Also, the pics on their website don't show much. How far is the creekside camping from where I'm going to have to park? It would be an optimal situation for me if I could camp right beside my truck, but it looks like you have to walk across a footbridge to the camping area. Is this the case? Some pics if anyone's got any of the parking and camping areas would be cool. Hey by the way, aside from what TWO is going to put on, I want to extend an open invitation to those of you also staying at TWO for the weekend. I like to cook and always make way more than I can eat by myself. I figured I'd bring the BBQ and do ribs or steaks or burgers/hotdogs. Maybe I'll bring a big pot and cook up a batch of chili or gumbo. We'll figure it out when we get there I guess. I also noticed a lot of you guys like microbrews. Well so do I, so I'll be sure and stock up for the BadWebbers. Last question - do I need to be prepared for bear country camping (i.e.: Food bags with a rope, extra changes of clothes so I don't go to bed smelling like food, etc.)? | ||

mmm brisket!!! Believe it or not it is damn near impossible to get a decent one around here. I am sure it would be a hit! There should only be a few starting to trickle in on Thursday. The majority of the volunteers and dealer employees arrive throughout the day on Friday. And Saturday and Sunday bring the rest out. You should have pick of the lot with your ETA. Most campsites are very close to the parking area. do I need to be prepared for bear country camping The only thing you will have to bear is a bunch of hooligans! | ||

That's a great idea and would feed a lot of people. I'll bring a big brisket we can cook all day sometime during the weekend along with plenty of beer. As for you hooligans, looking forward to being in the middle of the mix. I haven't stopped everything and focused purely on having a good time in years. This is going to be epic for me even if it rains and freezes the entire time and I spend it sitting on my bike doing burnouts in the trailer while drinking beer. I'm just happy to be there. I don't know if I mentioned it, but I've never seen another Buell on the road, much less potentially hundreds of them! I can't wait to see what everyone's done with their bikes and to get out and ride on roads the bike was made for. Around here, inch wide chicken strips are common unless you take it to the track. | ||

Tx05, That little bridge you saw in the picture is about the distance between parking and camping. Not far at all. They had a wheel barrel available last year for toting your stuff across. Made it much easier. T.W.O. has some excellent food.. Probably the best in the county. But I am sure nobody would turn down some good bbq. I will be there thursday... probably around lunch or so. If you want circus when you get there... I could maybe put on a clown suit and dance around.  | ||

damnut....we got hail actually, The snow will come later today. only about 2-3" of hail at the moment...weather guys say "Noreaster"....lol Anything to "Hype" up the snow fall since we have gotten squat all year. pretty slippery though, good fun driving in. I love the fishy tails I leave in the road....lol | ||

Glitch; I just watched you're photo show from March Badness 3...I have a tear in my eye for never have I seen so many Buells in one place, or so many Buell T-shirts, hats, and other parafenalia (sp?).....sigh...the most I can hope for is to see 1 other Buell this season..... | ||
