Excellent pics Mike and Steve.

It was a shame only 17 people signed up (but most of the "fast" people showed up. The weather was perfect.

Thanks Al Rudy and the Mrs. for the excellent shirt, it's great!!!!!!!

I think I got lucky on that T.T.O.T.D. I was the last one through and nobody could go back and try to top it.

Weight on the rear tire? Well yes, I hang "opposite" as you can see and load up the outside peg, which helps traction when you are that far over, as has been beaten to death in another topic.

A few people got into the 31's later on, I never went that fast.

Next up May 3rd in Frederick and May 10th in Gettysburg, see you there!

Jose did great on the S3, I only took three laps during Top Time of the Day comp. I was taking pictures. But during the competition Paul Walters on a Kaw 1200R and myself were the only ones to dip into the 31's. I was on my "techno Bolt" (Firebolt)

Wasn't able to shoot too much before Mike hands me his way trick camera.
Then I look up and it's over. Still pulling a page together, but here's one of Neal:

The lens was 579.00 at B&H photo in N.Y. retail price is 970.00

WOW!

Mikey Buells2:

It appears that there was a disproportionate amount of talent in one place at one time yesterday!

B&H Photo, for those of you who do not know, is ADDICTIVE to anyone who likes to play with:

Photography (can you say D1?)
Audio (I've developed a thrist for rack-mounted everything and JBL studio monitors)
Video (they have, no kidding, a showroom for NBC and those folks)

You can walk in and "try out" a home 32 track digital recording studio or video set-up.

The used department is pretty cool too.

Do not take cash when you visit...the place is GEARHEAD MECCA!

Ahh, Photography has always been one of my interests. Along with.
Ham Radio- since the big CB craze in the 70’s
Mountain Bikes – I had a BMX bike b-4 there was a term “BMX”
Motorcycles since ’73

I never got into film photography. I could never wait for the pictures.
Digital cameras came along and I was hooked but after a few years I
Found that the point and shoot cameras had limits. Now I’m learning about
Aperture, shutter speed, and light. I can really relate to people that take
photos for a living. Its an art and look out when I can get it mastered.
But, I’ll always be an amateur.
Amateur Radio Operator
Amateur Racer
Amateur Photographer
“the definition for amateur is someone that does it for the pure love of it!”

btw, a co-worker gave me a copy of the B&H catalog. I know enough to stay away from the store with money..........

Ha...man oh man...do you BELONG here!

I'm sitting here with THE FIRST Buell bicycle hanging over my head, next to my highly illegal Motorola Repeater.

You forgot to augment your comments with the fact that, amongst all those amateur pursuits, you were a PROFESSIONAL BattleTraxinator!

OK I agree, once you get paid for something you love doing your amateur satus goes away.
There was a Schwinn/Buell Mt bike on e-bay last week. I took the bidding up to 1200 bucks but still didn't hit the reserve. Oh well, I guess I'll use that money to pay my taxes.
here is my shack. I can receive from dc to light and transmitt on 144,220,440 and all the HF amateur bands.

Always cool when one of my pics ends up on a T-shirt, but what a poser.

Mike, e-mail address is in my profile. If you want anything setup, I can resize, crop, enhance, etc...

Thanks, Steve(2)
