Hey out there, It's time to get riding. The insurance goes on and the battery goes in on Thursday. I'll be going to Deeley's rain or shine bright and early on Saturday morning to get tires put on. Anyone in for a short ride? Stu will have the coffee on and I'll bring the donuts. That is the good news. The bad news is it looks like the Canucks have peaked early and run out of gas. It's disgusting. Hoping for sun on Saturday, Harv |

WTG, LittleOne. Sunday was a crappy day alright! At least the rain would mask any hideous sweatstains. Hey Harv, Darn, gonna miss the donuts! Oh and you guys too LOL. Daughter's 7th birthday on Saturday so no riding for me. Soon though! My bike's already on the road, just looking for some nice warm riding weather. And Don's not far behind. His S3 is running now, but unfortunately it's got a rocker box leak... argh! Well, better to get that stuff outta the way early in the season. Hope it's a good day for your ride on Saturday |

Well Hey, It rained on my nice clean bike while in Burnaby but otherwise the streets were dry, the air was cool and fat and the bike ran great! No complaints. The Canucks even showed up for the last 2 games! Game seven in Vancouver and I get to watch.........in Dawson Creek. Oh well, being on the road has it's ups (no responsibility) and downs (no bike). I'll be riding on Van. Island next weekend - looking forward to that. Hoping for sun again. Go Canucks! Harv |

Harv, when you go to the Island scope out some good motorcycle places. John suggested having a group (BRAG club?) ride over to the Island sometime this season. It may be spur of the moment, not sure at this point. Anyone interested? |

Well Hey There! I thought I saw a red Blast in the Albion Ferry lineup going north when I came off (going south) and was fighting with my bike as the kickstand switch was giving me grief. Was that you Lori? At least I'm pretty sure that's what my problem is. Earlier in the day I was riding into Ft. Langley and the bike just died. I pulled over and the electrics were working and the bike just started right back up again. I let out the clutch and stalled. Start, stall, start, stall. A little rest and it worked fine. Long story short, when I was returning from checking out my brother's new Tattoo shop - WES' TATTOOS, it started acting up just as I was getting off the ferry. So while it was running I wasn't stopping. Good day for a ride though. I think a little stop at Deeley's on the way to the Island is in order on Monday AM. Harv |

Just disconnect the thing Harve! One less gadget! You only have to leave the kickstand down once....OK maybe twice..then you remember to check after that! Nice to see some sunny weather finally. Bikes all over the place today! My sits waiting for insurance money, sadly. Also waiting for my clip-ons to be annodized, though! If you're going to Swartz Bay, I'm usually on the 1pm sailing. |

Eric, Horseshoe Bay to Nanaimo this time bud. I am delivering our van to my parents in Comox as they are buying it. I have rented a U-Haul (one way)to put my bike in so that I can leave them the Van and ride back via.......I dunno, maybe Tofino? Harv |

Harv that was LittleOne you saw. And LittleOne? Yep that was me you saw! I didn't see you tho... I always look up that way to see if you're around now. LOL. So we've got a few interested in an Island trip... cool! Any idea on WHEN? Heck, I may have started the ball on this, but depending on my schedule I may not be able to partake. July is bad, what with SPLASH and then the Molson Indy here in Van the following weekend... I'm running out of overnight sitters for my daughter! LOL

I can pretty much do anytime except June 21- July 2nd. Other than that when ever as long i get 24hours notice to tell work to find someone else. This would be great if we can get it together and figure it out. so come on you know you want to.... |

Deeley's season kick off ride is coming up in a few weeks. Thursday, May 22 to be exact. Those of us interested in future rides (ie. Van Island) should make an attempt to attend the kick off ride. We'll have to figure out the best weekend available for the majority of riders interested. The Island trip may turn out to be the first official Deeley's Club BRAG event. Anyone interested in doing some riding on a regular basis should think about joining (or renewing) BRAG if you aren't already a member. The more the merrier... Got to love this sunshine hey people?!?! Finally... hope it lasts! Ride on... LO |

I'm in for May 22nd. I work right around the corner from Deeley's. So i think that Stu would hunt me down and kick my butt if i didn't show up. I'll be the slow one in the back but that is okay. I'll see ya there. |

Let's have a look at the current schedule of events: Thursday May 22nd - Kick-off ride to Squamish June 4th - 8th - Rippin up the Rockies July 18th - 20th SPLASH (and my birthday, be advised) August 30th - Sept. 1st Border Raid I propose (Lorraine you know about this) that we meet at Deeley's on the morning of Saturday August 16th, ride to Horseshoe Bay and catch a mid-morning ferry to Nanaimo. From there we could head north to Parksville, hang a left and blast across the Island to Long Beach and camp on Saturday night. We could find places to ride or just hang out on the beach on Sunday and head back later in the afternoon. What do you think? Harv |

Littleone, were you not supposed to be in Mexico about now? Did that fall through? Already happen?Someone else I'm thinking of? Imagined the whole thing? Is getting a campsite at Tofino likely? Advance booking? That's probably Sportbikewest weekend, BTW. I probably can't afford either, so just ignore me. |

Hey Sportyeric... yeah i was supposed to leave on Saturday for mexico BUT as it goes, I didn't have enough money to do it. And according to the government i am not a canadian citizen. I went to get my passport and they told me that i can not cuz i am not canadian. I didn't realize that Saskatchewan wasn't part of canada anymore. Oh well next year. I guess that means that i should get on board with all the other local rides. So first thing is the May 22nd ride. I can not do SPLASH ( i wish i could) we have hit a huge busy time in the film industry during that time. I should be able to pull off Border Raid, What is that all about anyway? So this year will be closer to home and less money spent ( here's wishfull thinking) The island run sounds like a good idea Harv. see ya |

I also work just around the corner from Deeleys. Gonna put in a 12 hr. shift this weekend at double time to help pay for insurance. Will definitely make May 22. The Aug 16 weekend trip sounds good and will do it if every thing falls into place. Always lots of demands on my time and I can never fully commit my time that far in advance. Bob |
