Enjoyed it also, but Frank, I think your camera is defective - it makes look old & fat in all of the pictures I'm in. There must be something wrong

That is a good idea Mike. We need to coordinate a Lakeland ride to the new shop. Keep in mind the get together with Dave Stueve from WI on January 29. We'll be meeting at Kiss. HD store on I4/192 at 8:30.

The plan for Monday (Jan. 29) is to meet up at Kiss. HD (I4/sr192) at 8:30. We will then go to somewhere nearby to eat/drink/etc. Orlando people should meet up for the ride down there. I can't as I will be in my car for transporting Dave and his pals.

Dustin,

Maybe those of us that live on the east/north side can meet up to ride to Kissimmee on the 29th.

If Keith is going we could perhaps meet at the Waterford Lakes Town Center and head down from there.

Anyone else this would work out for?

Hi, Okay so I will not be making either the 29th or the 3rd, as I will not be getting in till sometime on the 3rd. And I still have to find a place to get my bike off my truck and get them both home. But I will be looking forward to trying to catch up with you guys sometime after that. Larry

Hey Thanks, Paul. Ray Price H-D/Buell here in NC, has a lift here to put my bike into the back of my truck. I just have to find a lift or ramp there to get it out and get both vehicles home...My wife told me drive a mile walk back get the other drive a mile....ETC. She thinks she's funny. Larry

I have a ramp - I'm in Oviedo, which is somewhat south of Rich. You are welcome to drive the truck up and off load the bike or whatever else works.

Paul - I am planning on going the 29th, so meeting down by you is OK with me.

Drive down to meet us on a Wednesday night. We've got enough muscle there usually to get it off the truck.

Thanks guys, I am coming in on the morning of February 3rd, and after catching a little sleep, I am going to search until I find somewhere to get the bike off the truck as I am going to ride sunday, even if its pouring out...

Larry,

You're welcome to use one of the loading dock bays at my warehouse to unload your bike. How big a truck is your bike loaded in?

Where are you going to live in Orlando?

Hi, decided to check out the web after my 4 year old daughter kicked me out of bed (she is afraid to sleep in her bed as she tells us there is a ghost named "coconut" living in there who sprays the dreaded miralax(a medication my son is on)). Too funny for me to be mad for long, but my sleeping sure is suffering.

Thanks Paul, my truck is just a Colorado Z-71 4x4. A regular dock may be a little high, but is definitely closer so may be able to work on something. If I can find a ditch deep enough I will just drop the back of the truck into it and roll the bike off, and put it in 4 wheel drive if it is too steep or wet. I was thinking of buying ramps, but I never carry the bike in the truck and I am going to be tight on money anyway so I am trying to save a buck. Larry

I bet if you stopped by Orlando H-D on 192 in Kissimmee, they'd take it off the truck for you with their ramps.

I have one ramp going up to a dock bay that you could probably back up to at the level of your tail gate and roll the bike right off. I always have plenty of guys kicking around, so it would be no trouble at all.

unless you get one of those curved ramps, a reguler one wouldn't do you much good with a 4x4. i have a standard pickup and i just catch the bottom of the bike on a flat surface with a flat ramp. had to use it the other day when my buddy broke his belt on the way home from the lakeland hd monthly ride. which brings me to this question for kensbuell. how much should it have cost to replace the belt on an 02m2L. trying to see if he got a good deal like they said or if he got hosed. or if any one else has an idea , i'd like to know.

I have a curved ramp, which is marginal with my 2X4 Ram 3500 (which is pretty high in the back without a couple tons of weight in there). I would call the Kissimmee dealer and see if they will help you.

Hope to see everyone tomorrow night in Baldwin Park. It sure will be nice to get out of the warehouse!

Keith, I've got our IT guy planning on coming out tomorrow night to look at your cg. He is looking to buy a Buell and I recommended he check yours out first.

I wonder what kind of referral reward Ken was talking about the other night.....?

Oh great - glad there's no pressure to show up :-) Let's see what the weather does. I really don't have any way to carry a rainsuit on the Buell, so I would have to run home first. I'll figure something out. Post tomorrow to confirm whether he is coming for sure - if not, I may ride the FLHR since I can pack raingear and come in from work.
