Maybe I'm just not spotting them, but when do the homecoming threads start? I've never been, but am hoping to head "home" this year.
There is a chance that two of us will be making the trip from Ottawa, Canada (eh!), likely transporting the bikes most of the way (limited vacation time/no desire to superslab all day+ on a bike).
Nothing on Buell's website yet, and since the demise of BRAG, us Canadians seem to be ineligible to join the newly formed "owners group", (can't create a "profile"---we have provinces!! postal codes!!) so no idea if my Fuell mags will continue.
So, what's "not to miss"? how does a homecoming newbie find out about all the various events/things to do? Or do you just show up and let things happen?
Any recommendations on accomodations?

what's the scoop??

man, my curiousity is piqued now!!

still open to advice on where to stay etc/what to do and see.. Is there typically a "BadWEB gathering" of sorts to get a chance to actually meet some of you fine folks?

how's the ferry crossing from Muskegan to Milwaukie? thinking maybe leave the truck at Muskegan, ferry the bike an' me across...

thanks!

Hey Spuds, I live in Ottawa, Illinois! Hope to see you there. Yes do take the Lake Express. I have done it the past two years on rides to the upper Michigan.
How about a tshirt swap? Buell dealer there? I have a dealer here.
Homecoming is great, plan to make it if you can.

Coolice: I'd be happy to swap a dealer t-short with ya...'cept our local dealers (Freedom and H-D of Ottawa) never have much in the way of buell merchandise...it'd likely be a H-D tshirt---that OK? we'll tee (pun!!!) up the details later!!!
Jugallo94: thanks for the tip on your groups rough plans...I'll check out the detroit threads as the date approaches.

Hey all,

Man... this is my first season with a buell, always wanted one but my business finally took off, saved some cash and made a purchase. I'm trying to get some people together to go to the 2007 Buell homecoming this year... I live in Rochester, NY so obviously it would be a long haul to East Troy. I would be willing to let some people stay the night and leave from Rochester if you didn't want to do the extended super slab. Just kicking some ideas around! Yeah, i want to ride... this weather is killing me... Who else is going? any tips other than the ferry?

If anyone is interested, i talked to Buell and lake express and hooked them up- so now there is a nice discount for Buell riders wanting to use the ferry from Muskegeon to Milwaukee for homecoming. Just an idea, and a great way to beat the Chicagoland traffic!
