Acutally just put a thread up in the XB forum...
My name is Danny and I just recently bought a XB9SX a week ago after having a blast for about 3 weeks. Been loving every second on the Lightning. I live in Fuquay-Varina which is about 10 minutes south of downtown Raleigh. Always looking for new people to ride with! Unfortunately I only have one person I trust to ride with, being 20 years old most everyone around my age has no clue about riding smart.

Well there is Spike And I whom both live here in Fuquay...Lately I have been spending lots of time at the Hospital with my Son, so not much riding, but I hope things are improving and Spike I am sure is up for a good Ride...Larry |

Welcome Daniel,
This is a great group, hang around, you'll have a lot of fun.
Sportymark lives over in Apex, not too far from you. I ride out in your direction frequently. I'd love some company. Also, Wes is about your age if you don't like riding with old folks. 
Do you still have the Blast, or did you trade it in? Did you buy it new?

Welcome Daniel,
You will see that we are from all over North Carolina but as Larry has stated we have two, now you make three, folks in Fuquay and several in the area. Feel free to look around. You will see we have several rides planned already and other events that we do year round. Jump in when ever you can join us. I ride your way quiet often and we are all talking about meeting at Michael's on Sunday morning after the holidays in Chapel Hill. I usually ride through Fuquay to get there. Again, Welcome aboard! |

Danny - welcome to C3! As Jim said, this is a great group of folks here and we cover the entire state with a few honorary members in TN/VA/SC. While most of us may be older than you, I don't think we're "OLD" - LOL!
You'll find most day to day activity on the main C3 thread. Check out the Adventure folder. Some of the group is planning to hit DC for the IMS show on January 13th. Feel free to join if you're interested.
Again, welcome and look forward to seeing you post some more!
Larry - hope all is getting better with Aaron. Keep us posted and hopefully we'll get a chance to see you out soon. Speaking of Spike - haven't seen much of him lately.....must be busy with other hobbies!

Sounds awesome. Age definately doesn't matter to me, I just like hanging out with people with the same interests.
I bought the blast used and actually sold it to my friend who I bought the Lightning from.

Danny - won't be this Sunday for M2nc as we're heading to Cincinnati in the AM. He's thinking about sometime in January weather permitting. Of course, with the exception of the motorcycle show in DC on 1/13/07.
Let your friend know about C3. There is a wealth of knowledge on this board. |

Ulywife - Actually my friend knows about this site, he is the one that showed me. He just got an XB12R and we are waiting for some work to get finished up on it so we can ride some. We are hopefull his gf will enjoy the blast. It's a great bike to start out on street with. |
