Hello C-3 group. Now that BRAG has officially stopped sponsership, can we come up with a C-3 card and perhaps a website? I for one would like to see the group get together and do some fundraising events to help out our expenses for group planned events. God forbid, even help out members in accidents who need help. No monthly fee crap, just some sort of fundraising events. Any ideas?! And what are your thoughts/ arguments?

I've always considered C3 more of a BadWeb riding group than a BRAG club. Shelton's sponsored by name only. Everything else has been up to us. The decals were designed by Southern_Marine and I had them printed. We can certainly use that logo for a business card. I think Jim Nance and G2 were working on BadWeb business cards (Blake said OK).
As for fundraisers, I have no idea, but willing to listen. You know me, I can type, organize and call people!! I think I'll just keep my title as BIC (B!tch in charge!)
As for a website - that would be great. Who knows how to set one up and willing to maintain it? |

I am not a member of c3, but you guys are the closest group to me (i am Abingdon, VA)...and i have met a few of you (Rubberdown, M2NC, JLNance, and a couple of others)at the Shady Valley country store in TN on US421. (my favorite place to ride) and i look forward to seeing you at MBIV.
I for one (and i am not a member so i am not eligible to vote) would hope that you would use Badweb as your main web page, so that people like me that would like to occasionally join in on an adventure would be able to know about it.
But i definitely like the business card idea to pass out to potential future Buellers and current owners that don't know about Badweb or your group.

If you signed on here, you're a member! We have now been dubbed C3 and company! Ft_bstrd and etennuly are honorary members, along with a few from Roanoke probably! We are a very relaxed group and like the idea that we are state-wide and now BRAG doesn't really stand in our way because of dealership territories.
C3 will remain on BadWeb as long as Blake lets us hang our hat here. We are still working on the business cards. Last time they didn't print out for the layout of the cards. Still working on it though! Always feel free to jump in on any adventure. |

I had almost given up this one!! Yea, I see nothing wrong with keeping it here, but Carolina Corner Carvers.com just sounds cool. How about the idea of doing something to raise money? Kristi pretty much figures out the financial do's and do's for the events we plan. Why not make her a treasurer, you already are anyway right. Just looking to make this a more rock solid group, not that it isn't, just hard to explain. I for one wanted to attend a lot of the meetings, but because of last minute decisions was unable to. I'd love to meet at Michaels on a regular basis or some other biker friendly venue.

The fact that BRAG is out, we really are under no obligation to have meetings. I'd say rather than having "meetings", we have a monthly ride, weather permitting. We can go from Michael's to whatever other establishment we want to. This group seems to have something planned more months than not anyway.
January - IMS in Washington DC & Off-road adventure
February - Daytona Bike Week
March - goes without saying, but March Badness
April - something will come up
May - C3 jr. ride (or Dad's will be on the you know what list!)
June, July, August, September - beach ride and whatever else someone comes up with
October - Mountain adventure
Of course, all you have to do is find out when Jim is heading west!
I think the best thing is that we are all here on BadWeb. C3 has really been a BadWeb group more so than a BRAG club. I don't mind paying cruise director, BIC or whatever you want to call it. I'm home and have time. All I need is a date and place to explore. We'd love to host another beach run this year. It will mean tents in the yard, but it's been done before! I promise good food, beer and company! |

Funny! Actually I was thinking about using Mrs. Jones' woods to camp in! At least the tall trees would stop any rolling cars! |
