Brighton sent him to St. Joe in Ann Arbor to get a CT scan and some x-rays. His short-term memory was gone, and wasn’t really getting any better in the hour or so we were with him. He said something in his shoulder popped, and that was causing him a lot of pain. His hand was swollen pretty bad, and he hurt his knee. Lisa, his girlfriend, is with him, and her brother already picked up his bike.

It looks like his throttle stuck open. I didn't see all of it because he was behind me.

There were 8 of us heading into the dealer parking lot. There was a row of new Harleys about 3 feet to my left. Saltypistachio was behind me. I heard his engine rev and then he was between me and the harleys. He managed not to hit either of us, but he hit a few of the harleys then went down right in front of me.

this is the curve we believe spidey hit and went airborne. If you look closely you can see two tire marks. We think they are from him locking up his front brake while his rear was spinning from the throttle being stuck open.




This is the area where spidey and his bike together took out six brand new harleys.




I tried to get a good pic of the front tire, you could see the scrapes from the tire dragging across the ground and hitting a curb.




This is what his front end looks like now with his snapped belt.




He scratched the spiderman face and broke his toepeg off his shifter.




Another pic of the front tire, notice the scrape on it, also whats left of his headlights and mounting bracket in the right upper corner.

Actually for taking out six harleys the bike isnt in to bad of shape. Maybe bent forks and front rotor and a new toepeg for shifter and he should be able to ride her again. Hopefully tony gets healed up quick.

Let us know if he needs anything. I would guess the vertebrae crack will keep him of the bike for this season. That will give him time to get his new 07 Spidy XB done.

I just left the hospital. Spidey is in very good spirits! They are keeping him overnight, because of his short term memory loss that happened right after the accident. He now remembers almost everything, except the accident, and his short term memory has returned.

The only injuries are what D3r3k already said, of course he is going to be a little sore!

I got it! MJ had a devious impulse to go "Bowling for Harleys" and Spidy was merely a passenger whilst the now turned evil MJ ran amok. At least she didn't go back and try to pick up the spare.

Seriously, I spoke with Spidy this am. He expected to be released from the care of the hospital today and off to home.

I will be on overtime the rest of the week, then friday I have to leave to head to Cadillac for the weekend. I found out I will be staying at The Sheraton Novi (21111 Haggerty Road) in case anyones in that general area.

I have a bunch of fraternity brothers in the Detroit area, but I haven't heard back from any of them yet. Since I went to college in Flint, I was half thinking about going up there one of the nights I will be in town to see what some of my old stomping grounds are now like. Right now it is too early to tell exactly what's going on, so I will be in touch as the date gets nearer.

Hey 1313 if your in Flint and have bike let me know. We'll have our norm Friday night bike night if interested. Did you go to Kettering? I know tons of folks from there over the last year and still get lots of Kettering students assigned to me at work.
