Nah, that was a re-hash of threads past. I was explaining to Kandie where the pic in my profile came from. She thought I was a seal murderin' bastard. If you were referring to the face-swap, that was per request. Errr..well, Penny wanted to see what Larry would look like with her ponytail. I took creative license with that request. NOT FAIR! You all look like you had too much fun! Who stood in for me at the bar? Would I have a nasty hangover? The answer better be yes! Sorry I could not make it. The new job really eats into my recreational time. I had about 24 hours off, which included 6 hours driving to and from... and about 6 hours sleeping. My day off was a little short! However... I got to at least go down to the shop and see my XB9S. I helped my son put in a Satellite radio system in his Jeep, went to the license office and got tags on the BMW (ouch!) and took Sharon out to eat for her birthday. I can't tell any of you she turned 50 yesterday! I think I set a sales tax record at the license office in Sugar Creek. The check to pay sales tax and get two year tags was... (drum roll please) $3037.65, and no they would not let me sit down when I wrote that check. So for all of you that that think the BMW is cool... I have to agree, BUT it about killed me to write that check!!! The only thing that pisses me off is that they put the stickers on the plates. I guess they did not trust me. The expiration tag reads "08". If they would have let me put the sticker on it would have read "80". I would feel better after spending 3 grand for license plates if they expired in 2080! Oh well!!! I am sorry I missed meeting Dave and Kandie! Maybe next time my hours will be a bit lighter and I will be closer to home. I am scheduled to work 84 hours a week for the entire month of August. Yes that is 12 hours a day, seven days a week... and I have no scheduled days off this month. But the weekly checks are nice and I now have a business card that actually indicated my title as Senior Consultant. I was a little worried that the card would be different than what I was told... and due to the fact that we have an office in Mexico City, Mexico... I wanted to be sure it did not say "Seņor Consultant"!  | ||

Sam, Sorry for the no-show, I know you did invite me and I did indicate I would be there, but I have a wife that thinks meeting new & "strange" (Larry) people is like a social problem for her. O.K. not the whole truth, she did not want to go, TRUE. I had t work until 7:30 that night on freakin H&R Blocks building TRUE. Got home and daughter fell asleep TRUE. Larry being strange TRUE. Sorry all, I wanted to go it just did not work out for me. Sorry to miss ya Dave and Kandie, was looking forward to meeting you. Paul F | ||
