I plan on going to Brighton HD/Buell this Saturday for their Open House/Party. Free food and special prices. I plan on being there around 10:00 am and if some other Buelly's show up, maybe a ride afterwards would be cooool. Post up if anyone can make it.

I personally can not go Saturday, but I think it would be a really good idea for any one that can go to show that we are buell enthusiast!

Well, well, well... My headlight went out on my bike last night, so I figured I’d go up to Brighton H-D/Buell to buy a bulb and see if they could install it for me. The service guy walked me back to parts where I was informed not one H-D dealer in Michigan has that bulb in stock. Surprise, surprise... So I went to Murray’s to buy the bulb and took it back up to Brighton so they could change it since that’s what the owner’s manual advises you to do, and I was then informed that since I didn’t purchase the bulb from them they couldn’t install it. So I asked the service manager why they sell Buell’s if they don’t support them. He then tells me how backed up they are, and how if they took 10 minutes to change my bulb it would screw everyone up. That’s funny. I buy the VIP service so I can get my bike back in 48 hours and Brighton took 4 days. They don’t care about my schedule, but they can’t take 10 minutes out of theirs. I’m so pissed. |

Well, that stinks. I've heard pretty good things about Brighton compared to the other shops that treat Buells like a "red headed step child". There's not much choice for me, I already know the two shops closest to me don't give a rats behind about Buells. I'm still heading there on Saturday at 10:00 even though they don't seem to Headlight friendly. |

They'll know next Sunday when I'm out there, and Buell already knows and will be contacting them...or so they say. |

You should have talked to the GM or the sales manager Bob, when I was having my difficulties they did not have a GM, and Bob went back there and actually made things happen.

Well, I stopped out to the open house. I seen a few Buells but no one standing by them. There was a Black/Gold XB12R with all the plastics coating with looked like Bedliner texture. It also had some Marine's stickers on it. Was that anyone from hear. Bike look cool.
Also, they had free DYNO's and I got my xb12r done. 88 HP at the rear wheel. I was pretty pleased with it.
Another thing, they also had the two Buell parts I needed in stock. I couldn't believe it. |

I got up there at 10:30. I got stuck in that frigg'n construction. I tried to get around it and made things worse. I hung out there for a while and then shot over to Motor City's HarleyPolooza. No Buells, but then they did drop that dealership. |

Better than I, I didn't make it until about 11:15. My buddy on his Rice Burner didn't get over until about 1/2 hour late and he brought a friend with a 1976 HD Shovel Head that wouldn't go over 75mph without blowing up. SO needless to say I was late to. I though it was cool that all the Brighton HD employees had blue shirts with Buell on them, it kinda amazed me a bit. |
