Oh my Dog! The mech that put the new exhaust studs in Betty put in some old, bent pieces of crap that came out while trying to tighten up the nuts. My first thoughts involved fire and explosives, but have since calmed down to picketing and threats. Will possibly be able to install new studs on my own using some liquid steel and prayer, but want to confer with BOB befor I proceed furthur. He will be home I belive on Wed, so I'm on hold untill then. Worst case has me riding down bitch with Debbie!, or worser case hitching it. sooner[if the dogs on my side] Galen | ||

There is a motel 8 I think it was, that is where Tracie and I stayed the first (and so far only) year we did the ride. But on a sad note, possibly you guys can have our room. It is not looking got as far as funds go for making splash this year. A few trips we didnt plan on this year and all....SO, Im doing what I can, but the bike is in need of tires and a new rear sprocket. | ||

Branden, Bobbie, I'm packing a plug kit and a compressor. It only weighs about 2 pounds, plugs into my electric outlet and no need for stinkin CO2 cartidges. Cost $10 for the compressor. What's the use having a Sport TOURING bike and all that bag space without putting it to use? | ||

Hi all, We're still planning on coming. I saw the riding plan for Friday but wondering about the rest of the weekend... Is the plan to ride the St. Helens loop on Saturday and are you riding Sunday too, or heading home that day? We're planning on trailering the bike up and back this year. C U soon! M&L | ||

My tires or slicks down the middle. I didnt think I was gonna make it home from hells canyon. I went and priced some tires yesterday $260 for a set of tires...ouch...Anyone got what the price of the rooms is? When I called and reserved my room she said she didnt know how much they were gonna be. She said he gives a discount and she didnt know what it was going to be. | ||

Loni - we don't have child care lined up for our boys - we are having garage mods etc done to our house - plus Mike is going to be riding my bike this year. I haven't had any and I mean any seat time this season (unless riding on the back of Cameron's JR50 with him this weekend at the track counts) - if this sounds like a bunch of excuses - well you are right! Besides the big Canadian ride I haven't been on the bike much since my crash other then at the track on the Derbi and well 50MPH doesn't really count! I have this huge thing called a survival gene - I might come up for the bar-b-que but am not for sure - just yet. | ||

Kim, I know what you mean about no seat time. We will have to maybe plan a day and go putt around. If you can't make it for the rides then please do come for the BBQ, see everyone and do bring the boys. They are going to be all grown up and married before I see them again! HA! What time is the ride leaving Friday AM?? I'm not staying up there Thursday night and still 50/50 on Friday's ride, but if I decide to go, I need to know what time y'all are leaving. Luckily, Woodland is only about 20mins from here. I'll be staying Friday and Saturday nights for sure, but will be busting back to Portland Sunday AM for the races (and Triumph demo truck) at PIR.
