so of course on my 2 days off this week it would rain non-stop--lightning and all; I agree with you Sflabuell-rain is no problem, but thunder and lightning just ain't cool! that sucks about Hooter's; riders have enough trouble being safe and finding places to hang out--- didn't hear anything 'bout Pompano Buell, maybe I'll have to swing by early saturday an check it out | ||

Saturday forecast. Isolated at 5 am, Scattered at 11 AM, Numerous showers by 2 PM. What a great day for liquid sunshine... If you have to be back by 11 AM, I don't believe they will open much before you'd have to leave. Should have checked first, they open at 8 AM. So if you leave at 7 that's good. Based on the forcast, truck is proabably better. If you want to ride uptogether, let me know. Thinking about riding over to the Hard Rock at the Seminole Casino, Tuesday night, they have a bike night and a bikini contest going on at Hooters. Hollywood Choppers is always a cool place to check out too. If anyone else is interested we could meet up somewhere before hand and ride up or meet at the Casino itself. well as is usual-the weather is being difficult--in 4 wheels instead of being on 2! welcome aboard Brihumphries hopefully the rain will let up soon so we can all get together if it calms down I may show @ Hard Rock,but not out of work until 9 and I'll be in the truck. | ||

Yup, it just finished raining cats and dogs here in FT. Lauderdale too. The sky does not look to promising for the rest of the afternoon/night either. If it does rain tonight I'm not gonna go in the car (thats no fun), but I will ride if it holds out. | ||

its still pouring down on and off and I'm literally about 2 miles around the block from Hard Rock--goin to call it a night--- Angelwild327-no that was not me--I did see your previous posts asking who it was when it did happen--I just remember not being on my Buell in that area at that point in time! usually I have this knack of trying to meet other Buellers whether parked or riding and waving-even if it means waiting and/or following to introduce myself! I figure we are not so few ,but definitely far between and any effort to get as many of us together as possible is a worthwhile one!!!!! one day we will meet! | ||

And for an update on the BRAG arena, Tina at Pompano is trying to get us a dealer sponsor or at least a contact. Anyone interested in a one day trek together for a Saturday, if possible, where we run Peterson's North to Ft Lauderdale to Pompano, letting them know we want a BRAG Club here? Or should we just form up a club without the BRAG sponsorship and associated headaches? I may be partly dillusional still from the great time at Homecoming... | ||

And on the dragon front (yes Brian, read your bio) I just have had the luck of meeting a new bud and fellow rider that grew up there. Parents still live there. He's interested in going to the Dragon area and leading us all around!!! Looking at Early-mid October????? Anyone else able to swing this, or is late September better? | ||

My own opinion is this..you have to have a REALLY supportive dealership to bother with a BRAG club. It appears to be somewhat of a headache for just one person to undertake without his/her dealership being strongly behind them. I'm talking about an employee of the dealership, starting a BRAG club. I think it would just me more simplistic to have a local, informal, kind of group. Maybe we can get a poll going, what days people are free, where people would like to ride, and/or meet, ie. bike nights, etc. Also, where exactly everyone is located, so we can try to gather someplace central to everyone. This unpredictable weather is a little rough, when trying to make plans...so hopefully everyone doesn't get frustrated trying to plan things out at the present time... | ||

an informal group/meeting place is an excellent idea!! the weather is definitely not cooperating now and probably not for another couple of weeks either, but once it begins to stabilize we should all have get togethers to plan rides. a poll of who is willing, where they are located and how far they are willing to ride, and a general schedule of available times would be a great start!! I even know of a few Buellers who frequent the site but never chime in; and a few who don't even regularly visit that would probably be willing to join in!-- I say we even post these idea's under the XB Board and Quick Board to try and rouse up as many as possible in time for good ridin weather | ||
