Greg....Welcome back to the world of Buell!!!

I'll try to get an overview of the meeting out later this week. Here's the highlights:

1) First group ride of the season....Sunday, March 23. Meeting at 11:00am in front of Hal's. Riding toward Whitewater. It'll just be a mellow ride. We'll be making a final call based on the weather forecast on Friday, March 21.

2) A lot of talk about the Buell 20th Anniversary in August.

3) Hal's is sponsoring a BattleTrax on Saturday, August 23.

4) Special Buell parking at Hal's during the H-D 100th celebrations.

5) Don't forget to stop by to sign the card for Erik Buell. It will be presented on August 20th.

6) Send any pictures of you & your bike to me for inclusion on our website.

Our next meeting is Tuesday, April 8. The April ride is on 4/27 to the Corse Cafe.

BTW....when are you getting married????

Dennis

Hey all....the "long range" forecast looks good for our first ride of the season. Plenty of mid-week rain to wash all the salt & grime off the roads :D It may be a bit on the chilly side but probably nothing most of us haven't experienced before.

Anyone going to be out on Saturday? I'm probably going to cruise into Hal's to pick up some parts. It looks like I'll be riding

Did someone say Bachelour party?????:):):) I sorta kinda remember mine. I had a very big smile on my face.

Dennis,

Give me a buzz tommorrow. I have to paint closets tomorrow.(at least that's what I said I would do).......but if you make it official Brew City BRAG business, I'll at least fire up the bike and cruise over to Hal's. Maybe a very short ride if you twist my arm....Owwww stop that, that hurts. Although I haven't seen my wife except for like 4 hours this week. Owww stop twising my arm. Ok already I'll meet you at Hal's and possibly do a short ride and lunch. I've got to change the oil in the bike anyway, and you can't really change the oil very well until you've gotten it good and hot anyway, right. Actually I may take a walk back to the speed shop and get myself into some trouble anyway.;) I'm kinda doing the run-on sentence to confuse myself. I'm in a really bizare mood. Must be the Chili and Velveeta last night for dinner.:):)

P.S. Who's free the weekend of May 10th? I'm re-roofing the house. Pay: all you care to eat and drink.....AFTER YOUR DONE!!!:):):)
AND as always....FREE MOTORCYCLE PARKING in the garage.

Sure... I never read these things till after I ride... Well I cruised by Hal's around 12:15, I think it was closed, I didn't pull in. I had to pick up the girlfriend from work at 1:00 and then we put about 60 miles on. So now I got the red face/racoon eyes thing going on. It was all good though.

Oh yeah as far as the batchlor party thing goes... I think my is actually going to be sometime in late September. It's kinda tradition to make it a whole day thing with my friends. We start out with 18 holes of golf, back to a house for a cook-out (steak, brats, and more beer, kinda like the last supper for guys) and then out own the town for drinks and fun. Finally we always end up at El Chico on North ave. for Buritos made of meat they call steak. (personally I think it is dog, but who cares at 2:30 am when you are drunk)

Blastin...You are no longer living in Chicago. We do not use Velveta in Wisconsin and those that do, surely do not advertise it. LMAO

Yeah all...a little quite here this week. Everyone must be getting ready for this Sunday's ride:)

It case your missed something along the way...here's the scoop. We're meeting on Sunday at 11:00am at Hal's. We'll take a casual ride to Whitewater for a stop. Then we'll ride back to Milwaukee.

Now for my next question....is anyone bringing their significant other? Just curious because I think the girlfriend wants to go.

That's all for now.

Dennis

Yeah I was going to ask about the significant other thing. I am going to have a hard time with Sundays due to church, but the girfriend was asking about the overnight trips. She was very interested in coming to wildcat Mountain. Thoughts???

Boys,

Fit a Bachelor Party in with the 20th Anniversary Celebration. I may have to bring a bottle of Newfie Screech for the occasion.

Screech is dirty black rum (but sooooo good) and there is a saying here after drinking a lot of it "The Old Black Rum got a hold on me like a dog wrapped round my leg!!!!"

Hey just a reminder---

Ride on Sunday To "Storm the Campus" in Whitewater.

Rain has done a pretty good job washing away a lot of salt, but remember there is still a lot of gravel and general crap on the roads. This ride will be to more or less shake off the rust.

Meet at Hal's by 11:00a.m.
(Weather looks promising-at least warm enough not to snow.:))

If this is you first ride of the year don't forget to check your tire pressures and your oil. Give your bike a thourough look over.

See everbody on Sunday.

Jerry

P.S. As far as significant others, the more the merrier!!

You guys are so fortunate to be able to ride. I'd say a minimum 3 weeks here yet.

Safe riding and watch out for the spring dirt on the roads, that stuff can be like riding on marbles.

Well I hope all went well with the ride Sunday. I would have liked to be there with you all. I did get a ride in later after me and the fiance got home from church. Man was it a great day to ride...

Hey all...great day for a ride yesterday:D There were only 5 bikes (Ted's S2, my S3T, MikeS's M2, Rick's X1 & Jerry's Blast) but we had a good ride. After discussing road conditions with Ted, we decided to head south instead of west.

We stopped at this crazy-ass bar called The Wildlife Refuge in Kanasville. The place is right out of the 60's. They have this wacky painting of a transvestite on the wall. I won't mention names but one of our riders thought they wanted the picture in their living room until he found out it was a transvestite.

After a soda and some conversation, we left for some food. The next stop was Fred's in Burlington. My editorial....they're NOT the world's best burgers.

From lunch, we started back toward Lake Geneva. I headed home while the rest of the gang went north for a few twisties.

FYI: Our next group ride is scheduled for April 27th.
