CJ, I do believe that Bomber (MasterBomber now?) was just pointing out that with this type of an event virtually anyone can improve their skillset. The good riders get a little better, the medium riders get better, the beginner riders get a lot better. A couple years ago at the Pilgrim road plant BattleTrax they ran a Woman's division, and most of the women were using the demo-Blasts. One woman in particular had only been riding motorcycles for about a month, and she won, talk about happy. And that's what it's all about, participation, fun, and skill improvement. When you (or I) listen to what Reg or Brian, or now Bomber, say to the various riders as they get ready to start their lap, or when they finish their lap, you will hear them giving tips and instruction on where to improve, where to slow down, where to turn sooner or later, how to use the brakes and clutch and throttle. It's fun, it's competition, it's educational. I believe that's what Bomber was saying, only he used a whole lot less words than me. And any jab he gave ya' was just a friendly little tickle or two.  | ||

geez, I go to an all day meeting and the joint falls apart . . .CJ, like Mike sez, ,everyone can learn at B'trax, and learning is a wonderful thing (insert not humorsous icon here) . . . . the biggest gift I've gotten frlom my association w/Buells and Brag is meeting great folks, riding with people of varying skill levels, and learning from all of them . . . . . I hope to continue to improve my skills til they pry my handlebars from my . . .. .. oh, never mind, I'm starting to sound like Charleton Heston | ||

Rick should have BrewCityBRAG membership forms up at the front reception desk. Stopped in on Friday, he was out with a bad throat, and nobody could find the membership forms. They had the national forms, but no local forms. One of the other's there even rummaged around his desk a bit and couldn't find them. Guess I'll have to stay the lone wolf for awhile longer. Saw the XB9S low they had in there. Looked super small in the lower format. No, I didn't sit on it. | ||
