Also tweaked the shocks back to stock with the new tires, according to the manual. Made somewhat of a difference. GOt schooled this week yet again, that's for sure. Learning. | ||

Stretch and Cliff- I took your advice and here I am...If you can't tell from the username, this is Morgan, the guy with the Drummer equipped 9R. I'm doubtful as to Fuddruckers on Thurs., seeing as I am trying to get my race ECM installed on Wed. I'm having a hard time getting an appointment scheduled at the North store. I'll give you guys a heads up if all goes well, though. Hopefully I'll make it...had fun last time. Good to meet and hang w/ other Buellers. | ||

Cool. Good to see you. Just put a streetfighter seat on order, and am getting some dual star mirrors. Also bought a couple of books on sport bike riding. I think what I've learned so far is that I am doing just about everything wrong. Setting up for corners, throttle, position on the bike, etc. Oh, and turning. A Harley it isn't. But it's been great so far. BTW, you guys were also right about the shocks. I went ahead and did exactly what the manual told me to. No more spine jarring bumps, corners way better, etc. Could be the new tires made a difference too. Should be up at Hooters on Wednesday. Straight up 95, exit Hollywood Blvd, and go west till University. Less than a half hour ride, if y'all are up for it. Stretch | ||

I'll try. The X1 is in use by my son. He snapped the drive belt on the Firebolt at, take a wild guess, 6000 miles! Should have read more Badweb before I bought and had it changed before I brought it home...  Daves will have one on the way today, ordered it yesterday. And I bought the new Vance and Hines (sorry Morgan, loved the drummer and the race pipe, too, but took cheap for right now). I got everything through DMV the other day. Just $500 lighter and waiting about 2 months for my new S FYTR plate (YES! Got it!)  So, I'll try to make it, but if my son has to work, he'll be hogging the bike. By the way, nice moniker, Morgan!  | ||

Thanks Cliff! So a Vance and Hines, huh? Have you heard it yet? I'm curious to compare the three. Just dropped the 9 off at the North store to have the ECM installed/TPS reset. So I can't make it tonight to Hooters, Stretch  If all goes well, I should be at Fuddruckers tomorrow night though. Good to hear your setup is now more conducive to cornering, Strech. I'm sure we'll be doing our fair share of that after the show tomorrow night. Hope to you guys there! | ||

I'll be there. Good turn out tonight. 6 Buells. Way cool. Saw a real nice Yamaha R1 done totally in carbon fiber. Beautiful machine. Weighs about the same as a Buell, but has like 170 RWHP. All in all a good time. Developed a gremlin though. Turn the key, no tach sweep. W'oh. Then after I started the bike it spooled up. Didn't duplicate it. Anyways, I'll try my best to make it tomorrow night, but am not leaving out until after 7, since traffic will prolly suck. Stretch | ||

Verified the K&N as told, and webbed the cover. Seems a bit throatier (is that a word?) already. Looking forward to getting everything on the road... soon, so soon. See you all tonight. | ||

I was looking forward to seeing the Goldstars. Myron, got the Vance and Hines in, it looks awesome. Daves says the belt should be here today, that means we should be rolling on Thursday. The pipe appears it may fit without too much hassle. Mainly seems to me after inital fitment the chin fairing mounts will have to be rehung, as they come off the muffler. That would be sweet, as that's a no brainer, compared to mounting the pipe. Anyway, working for Thuursday! I;ll be there around 8:30 at best, Clif | ||

How long has it been since you ordered them? If I was you, I would contact Buell customer service. They promised you Monday 2 weeks ago. IF they cannot get it fixed, tell them you want a new one. Welcome, Torq. I'm glad to see you finally showed. Did you see my note at the top of the page? Oh, PM me and I'll send you a new link, sleazebay relisted the other 5. Just in case you want to bolt on.... The ceramic looks great. If wifey will bring the truck up I'll have it come up so you guys can see it. Haven't installed, yet, probably need your support, Torq (Cut and weld). I got the new head gasket into the Lightning, just not quite finished, yet. Still have cosmetics and rocker boxes to install, less than an hour. I'm checking out a bit early, golf night and I run the league. But I will be at Fuddruckers tonight between 8:30-9 PM I'm pretty sure. Aaron is bring the bolt, so you guys will actually get to see it.
