also if sundays are better we can do it on a sunday(usually less traffic too).as far as meeting up,i think mcdonalds is a good idea(plenty of parking and cheap breakfast)then we could ride all the twisty roads through hocking hills and eat at sonic for lunch, then hit st.rt.50 to chillicothe,rt.35 to washington court house and split off from there.if ceejay goes me and him could take rt.62 back to columbus and split off from there.I think this would be good because we could get the aggressive roads after breakfast then calm down and relax after lunch.this is just a thought, let me know what you think reep

My route will be really intersting, my ride will be "booring". I have nothing to prove to anyone, I will be riding at a pace that is spirited and fun, but that I promise won't impress anyone.

I am much more interested in keeping perfect form and hitting the perfect line and enjoying the scenery then I am about touching pegs or impressing other riders.

If my line starts getting sloppy or my form starts getting all bent up, I just slow down. Sometimes, I just slow down anyway, because I feel like it. I won't be a rolling roadblock for cars are cruisers, but I will be moving over and waving for anybody on a sportbike with something to prove.

I am thinking we will have predefined rally points every 50 minutes or so anyway, so everybody can pick their own pace.

You guys know the area, you know better then I do. Let me plot that tomorrow, and see how bad it looks like by butt will be hurting...

I mean good booring, not booring booring. Booring like no accidents, no tickets, no drama, no disasters, just a nice spirited ride through Gods glory on a finely tuned middleweight sporting twin.

I'm teaching myself to weld, how much steel will fill a tailbag? ;)

hey rum i might just have to take a ride up there myself this weekend.i know i have plans on sat.but not sure about saturday night or sunday.hey reep i think it will end up being around 250 miles round trip.maybe a touch over that.the thing is.....once you get to hocking hills you never really go that far as the crow flies most of the trip is to and from.and btw i like your definition of booring cuz thats the ride i am looking for too.

about 120 pounds he, he, he...sounds like a great ride, I know that place is cool regardless of speed, and much better when you come out scratchless. I've lost it once there and so have a few friends, so the definition of booring sounds great to me too...

Sbolt-the mural is in Portsmouth been down there a few times, to which they just recently got it done. If your bored look it up on the internet sometime, has lots of cool pics, can't remember the site tho. Awesome flood and scooter murals. There are about 35 panels 20'X15' that cover the entire flood wall running about 3/4 of mile. Definitely worth the ride to see. Always wanted to go down there, and then hit rt 7 into KY. yea old man cave area is just up down and around. never seem to get anywhere or really care as its fun and makes me think I'm in Appalacia.

well i went on the poker run yesterday.it was a very good turnout(370 riders)but a bad day for me.a friend of mine broke his chain out in the middle of nowhere.while we were trying to fix this a guy on a goldwing started around a curve and his kickstand was down(this is a bad thing)he ended up going down pretty hard and broke some ribs.but all in all i guess thats not to much to go wrong with that many riders.plus we raised almost $5000.00 for the family.

S-bolt-I had been on Rt. 7 in a car with a U-haul filled with furniture coming up from the freeway once before. My wife is yelling at me for driving too fast and having fun, but that was just it having fun. It would be a great road for a cycle although could be somewhat hairy with gravel/no roadsigns/animals. But the scenery was damn cool. KY has some great looking roads....That's a lot of riders, was going to go on that run last year but ended up fishing instead...

s-bolt, it's a full force, I just wrapped them, and fabbed up a mini silencer, which mostly just quiets it down a bit at idle as I live in a little burb on the west side of Cols. We still meeting up on the 13th? I'm having problems with my seat-it just got recovered and I went and checked it out and he did a terrible job so hopefully that will be done by then so we can meet up.

I have a conflict for the 13th and 14th... The 27th or 28th would probably be my best bet, though I might be able to swing the 21st.

Don't cancel on my account though... do the date that works for everybody.
