If the does not work, "i" will ride both days so everybody gets to ride what ever day they can ... Since there is some what of a distance between all, a central spot should be chosen ... As for the SPOT you LOCALS will know where ... A "GATHERING" for lunch and talk as much "BUELLschitte" as we can ... If some one has a good ride in their mind that would be fine also ... The best roads in SC are up around Caesar's Head (NW of Greenville), but that's not very convenient for most of us (250 miles one way from the lowcountry). How about somewhere around Columbia. I've met S1Joel- he lives in Charleston and rides a highly modified S1; his wife has an M2. I am usually off every other weekend, so maybe we can still do some riding later. Also I will probably be going to Bike Week at Myrtle Beach just don't know which weekend for sure yet. Also there are a few more Buellers around like Chris that rides a yellow X-1 here in Summerville and two other guys that ride tube frames also (The names escape me at the moment) Sundays are usually out for me because I almost always work on Sun. Saturdays are good. A few of us have talked about it and will bring it up at our next meeting. We have a C3 Jr. Ride coming up in May. The guys are heading to Morrow Mountain with the children and then will camp out that night. Once we can get everyone together again, we can start talking more about the SC/NC Ride. Feel free to post something in our Adventure Folder if you all set a date. We are also starting to plan a weekend getaway for October in the NC mountains. Looks like you guys are about as spread out as we are here in NC. Makes it hard to plan for monthly rides sometimes. Where there's a will, there's a way! I still think the idea of a SC/NC Border Raid would be fun. The question remains, where? Of course we have the mountains and I think a couple of our guys in the south/central part of the state have some pretty good roads. If you are all interested, let's see what we can pull together.
