Thanks for the compliments boys, much appreciated!

Ewulls01 - Thanks have one of the other Least Wanted boys here get you my info as big brother is watching around here and says I can't mention my company since I don't spend no money for advertising.

Tim - Yep, we'll be back in KC the end of this month for the Easyriders Centerfold Tour show at Bartle Hall on the 29th. Larry has the details and is setting something up. We get in early afternoon on the 28th and then we'll have to go down to the convention center to set up until around 7 p.m. and then I think we were going to get together after that. The wife is along for the ride, so we'll have to take the raincheck on the T&A run until another time. : D
Duff - keep your penis off my new motorcycle.

Talk soon guys,
Justin

I wanted to make it to FUEL tonight but with the bad forks it will have to wait, but there will be plenty more nights. Maybe we can all hook up and FUEL and then ride out to Slowride in lawrence they both have bike nights on thursday. Just a thought.

Fester,

Thanks for the compliments bro. Yes, we will most definitely have this bike in tow when we head out there along with our vendor booth with our air cleaners, t-shirts, hats, etc. Kind of hoping to drop Jeff and Frank from MC Worx jaws with it actually. Roundabout friends with those guys too, so it's friendly one-ups-manship with them over who's got the baddest Buelly chop in their stable. Hopefully I'll get a chance to check out your ride too while I'm out there.

Tim,
Funny you should mention some help. We're going to have a couple of extra passes to the show (we get two for the booth and two for the show bike) so I was thinking maybe if a couple of you guys might have Friday afternoon free from say about 3-7 to help me out with setting up our booth I'd toss you a Two-Bit shirt and a free pass into the show on Saturday. If nobodys got time off that's cool too, and we'll have it covered, but I thought I would throw it out there since we're going to have the passes anyway.

Talk soon,
Justin

will pay cash for it!

P.S.
That bike looks great.

OK so how does Famous Dave's sound Friday the 28th... Justin and Linsey are staying north of the river and I would hate to make them drive to Olathe or Lee's Summit for Oklahoma Joe's....

Justin I can help you that Friday from about 3:30 on, if it's ok for my 11 year old daughter to tag along...just let me know...and speaking of timing covers, I'm sure you could sell a couple of the KCLW if you get any made up...

This pending approval from the HMFIC of the house. Larry I am asuming you mean the FD out by the race track. If you all want after dinner we can head to my shack (7-8 miles west) and try to empty a keg, have a bondfire and try to refill the lake with the recycled beer. If people are interested let me know, if not no big deal.

Yeah that's what some of the guys were talking about on Friday at Sonic...

BTW did anyone hear of a bike wreck out on 150 highway in Martin City friday night?? I was there...had to split before the cops boxed us in, tho. Heard that they're trying to make a new law about watching street racing as being a big fine and possible jail time.

I heard about it. Were people racing? From what I was told the guy just lost it in a corner and went in to the ditch. Was that not what happened?

I didn't hear of that one. I did hear that the bueller that bit it three weeks ago on 150 after leaving Gail's was unhurt save for some minor rash. His red 12R (the one we all inspected before the BRAG ride) was totaled.

I just read that bit about the fines for spectators. 500 and 6 months in jail for just watching, ouch that would sting. It has not passed but I bet it has a good chance to.

Lowflyer, are you talking about this 12R being totaled? Man, the damage looks pretty light on it to get totaled! What was wrong with it that made it a totaled bike?

No, it's not mine Fester. The frame looks black in the pic, but it's the dark grey of a normal 12. Correct me if I'm wrong guys, but I believe the story went like this. So this guy throws a hissy fit in Gails because they don't want to do something for him, and leaves in a huff about it cursing and screaming. He gets a couple miles down the road and crashes his bike in to a median sending it sliding through the grass. So how embarrasing is it to take a bike that you wrecked back to the shop that you just cursed out and ask them to fix it? I don't know, but this guy does! Ha ha.

Yeah I just talked to Drake who said that guy ended up totaling out that buell?? It looked to me like the most expensive fix would be the handlebars, unless the forks or rims got bent or whatever. I don't know if it runs, either.

Seems like somebody's overestimated their damage...

Anyways, yeah we were making our little jaunt from state line to holmes and back on 150 highway. On the way back doin atleast 120mph, this black guy on a CBR1000 looked like he missed the curve to the right and tumbled straight off into the grass median and over to the other side of oncoming traffic, almost hitting a car head-on. We turned around to make sure he was alright, seemed like he was pretty lucky with only a skinned up arm.

Bike was TA-RASHED...I was told he had only had it for a month.

Didn't really hang out long enough to talk with Mr. PoPo, that's why most of us scattered in either directions.

What's wrong with douche bags?

James,

That's the one. It apparently has a tweaked frame and bent forks. Damage was over 8 grand in Gail-dollars. Low book for it is around $5500.

Made it to and from Nebraska with virtually no issues (ran out of gas 3/4 of a mile from the St. Joe exit...DOH!!! Fueled up with the help of a kind driver on the interstate and I'm back. If anyone hasn't figured it out yet 35 miles when your fuel light goes on (with a headwind) is your limit!

But other than that put over 600 more miles on the bike and was able to avoid rain during the whole trip (pulled into my parents garage 5 min. before the rain started on Sat). The cortech bags were awesome and I got a lot of compliments on how good they look.

New bags:

Omaha Skyline (kind of):

The other bolt is my cousin's. He's a cop in Omaha and it was nice to roll around town with someone that isn't afraid of being pulled over (one flash of the badge and we were on our way)!

James:

If your going to go to the bike night on Wed. I wouldn't mind tagging along. Keep me posted with any other details.

Erik,
Glad your trip went well. That looks like a nice setup with the bags and all. 35 miles on the Low Fuel Light sounds about right.

I am planning on riding back home this weekend too...except it is not near as far. Just to Topeka.

I am up for Bike Night, too.

James, thanks for the info, I have just been trying to catch up on that story.

Erik, nice shot of downtown omaha. Who's is your cousin, I have 3 uncles that are police in the area. 2 are OPD and 1 NHPatrol. Next time you are riding up let me know I may tag along, we may have to take a few more stops but it would be a nice ride, I have done it alone once gets a lil boring.

Ya Erik I know how you feel, I ran out of gas just off the 119th exit last year. 33 miles with the light on was my limit.

I ran out of gas one time on my way back to my apartment from downtown Chicago. Of course it happened in the middle of the Southside ghetto. The bike started to sputter so I pulled off on the next ramp and it died right in front of a project! I managed to get it restarted a couple times and limped it over to a gas station. The station didn't even have an attendant because the area sucked so bad. I kept my helmet and gear on for the fill up because I was trying to hide my pigment. While I was filling up this hoopty (85 Buick on Dubs) pulled up next to me and when they opened the door the Blunt smoke about knocked me and the bike over. They were checking the beast out for a minute, and then I was done filling up and got the hell out of there. Scary stuff. I ended up in the Southside projects a couple of times on bikes, and I've never felt less safe. I had a toll booth attendant ask me what the hell I was doing on that side of town one day and she gave me directions and told me not to even stop at stop lights. When the locals are afraid for you, you know you are in a bad situation!

As for Wednesday Erik. I've got to do an oil and primary fluid change, and then I'm ready to ride. If Larry and the boys are going to be around tomorrow around 5:30 I was planning on heading straight over there to get it done. Probably won't take me more than 1/2 an hour. I'll find out what time people are meeting over at Fuell.

So you saw some of the bitchyness over there too Drake? That woman ended up PMing me an apology later.

Damn. $60 just for four quarts ($9 each) of Syn3, a filter ($15) and two plain Jane plugs ($3.50 each). I was hoping to get away a little cheaper than that, but what can you do I guess. Does that seems about right, or should I call over to central?
