Hey Cuz, The substance of life is a very complex and dangerous subject. The very nature of the substance is by itself sustaining and absolute,
there for, any language directed to the subject of the substance would ony breach it's very nature. (I trust you understand)

Ray, Shame on you!, Using the substance for your personal nasty enjoyment is also a breach of it's very nature!! Shame Ray!

Kim, tell cody I said hello and I miss him please.

Well the pipes on order for the speed 3 and frame sliders also. I hope the stuff comes before next weekend. Calaforny here we come!!

Let me just say - all Ya'll with bikes suck!!!

Howdy howdy howdy! How is it back there in the States? It is beautiful here in Okinawa (going snorkeling tomorrow :) )We are finally settled in and miss the hell out of the bikes - and even you guys ;) Lots of bikes over here, guess I'll have to buy a "temp" one.

Work is looking to get real hectic real quick (watch the news) so I am looking to deploy for more than a few months real soon.

If ya'll want to drop Carol or I a line, fire it off to javaheds@konnect.net

Have fun!

Kim I think I am going to stay away from this substance of life subject, your handling it real good! God only knows!

Code Red, it is nice to hear from you! I will try my best to be going fast with you at the Thundercross events. If I don't ride I will be there to cheer you on and be your personal photographer. With the new camera we got I will be able to take pictures and e-mail them to you. I am feeling better everyday. Thanks for your concern. Tell Mom you need your own log on for Badweb.

Four Words - Loud Pipes Save Lives!

Shotgun - I think I might have alleviated some of the pipe envy I had of your bike. This thing (aka Latus Pipe) is awesome!

Loni,

Good to hear your doing better, sorry to hear of the spill. I figured something had to be wrong when you and Chris didn't show on Sunday. Just hoping it was more like a flat tire or dead battery kind of thing. Well with one bad arm I should be able to keep up with you eating pizza at the next BRAG meeting. Do you have any pictures of damage to the bike or yourself, anything topless will do fine. Heal up good girl, I'm sure Chris will take care of putting the mend on the SV for you. See you soon.

Deb, it's great to read your words on here! didn't know you were laid up for a bit, glad to hear you're soon to be back in the wind.

one of my favorite riding memories is from our trip to Sturgis, when me 'n Bob would periodically duck in behind you on your Bagger, enjoying the cooling mist from all the ice that was melting and dripping out of the cooler in your trailer :)

see you next weekend!

So is the BRAG ride on Saturday, the 15th, or Sunday, the 16th? The news letter: "Saturday Feb 16th".

Deb, So glad to hear from you! Glad to hear that everything is going OK now with your healing. My hand might take some time. I go back to the doc on the 27th. I have bumps where there should'nt be any! Have fun in Calif. Sure wish we could make the trip. Give everyone a big hello!

Gumby and Sharon, thanks for the good wishes and prayers! Hope all is good with you.

Spudman, Yep eating pizza and salad might be real entertaining this Tuesday night since I am left handed and all the damage was done to the left hand! Chris has not taken any pictures of me (that I want to share) or the SV. We will try and get that done this weekend, along with a list of parts that we need.

Roc, I think that the ride is Sunday. We always do them on Sunday befor the meeting. I will be thinking of you all riding, while I search e-bay for cheap parts.

Hi Guys,
I just got on line this evening and have been catching up.

Loni,
Sorry to hear of your accident. I hope things are doing well. All to often we learn are motorcycling lessons the hard way, and somtimes we are just in the wrong place at the wrong time. I"ve been down twice, once was my fault and once was not, but I wouldn't give up my biking experiences for anything. Sounds like you haven't been scared off either. Good for you! You are a strong couragous lady! Get well soon!

I'm down on a oil spill response vessel in California until Mar 1st. I'm stranded with no transportaion at Richmond PT which is out in the middle of nowhere. Not much to do but read and look at the view of the bay. Wish I had my bike. If anyone should be down here and would like to rescue me for a day, you can email me at captlusk@pocketmail.com this is my mobile device that I check about three times a day. I know I'm grasping at straws here, but the prospect of sitting on board this whole hitch on my days off is daunting. Anyway, enough about me, I hope everyone has a great long weekend and stay safe! Remember, if we give in to fear, the terrorists win. I'll be lurking from time to time until my return on the 1st.

Paul

Loni....
Sorry to hear about your accident. I am certainly glad it wasn't any worse. Get well and get riding! Hang in there.

So...anyone familiar with Wolf exhausts? Been doing some research and I'm while I'm certainly coveting their underseat for the ST, I think just a can replacement is the only 'affordable' option. I don't want excessive loudness, just a nice growl (or purr!) as much as a triple can accomplish, and a little added hp of course. (www.wolfracing.co.uk). The underseat does look damn sexy though and it would help make up for lack of my own!! ;)

Also, fellow st-ers...saw that Sargent is making a replacement seat "world sport performance seat" supposedly due out this summer. No price on its website yet but taking no-obligation release notifications by email. Might be worth keeping an eye on...it certainly looks damn cool. (www.sargentcycle.com)

Mike, thanks for coming along out to CMC, putting up with my frustration and then watching me ease it by spending money!!! Hope you're having fun in CA!

Get well soon, too, Deb.

Stay safe everyone!
Eric
