No Tony, I did not get another Buell, actually riding a Suzuki Super Motard now, nothing like a dirtbike with 208 zr's and street legal goodies! Are you no longer at a dealership?

I am going to chime in here on a few issues:

1. With a good number of the Metro dealers out of the Buell game it would seem all of the Buell owners should pick the best of the rest and try and give them focused support. Biker Bob's(Motown)..during my time there was the #1 Buell dealer in the country several years ago...and lately I have been hearing they have been doing a decent job of supporting the Buell riders. Ray C's in Lapeer has always been a stand up dealership as well.

2. As for Buell "rides" and "activities"...we used to regularly have 10 to 15 bikes every Sunday on our route through Hell and such...I would be up to set that up and lead the rides once again...A good 2 to 3 hours of twisties followed by lunch...the standard was to meet at the dealer..Motor City at the time at 9 and then at M-36 and Chilson Rd at 10. I also have a really nice loop of some good twisties in northern Oakland County I would be happy to take anyone on.

3. This site has always been the best Buell meetings site and continues to be but a central "Detroit" site would be nice so if you need help Spidey let me know.

Cool! As you know I was with Anderson's for a long time and just left there in Jan. to pursue other interests. I did however get to go to the Indy Cycle Expo and it was great! Give me a shout and we can plan some rides. 248.705.2412 Dozer

Spidey, you up for the ride to the UP? It is the weekend of may 7. Just wondering. I will be back in town on wednesday night if you want to talk about it give me a call.Plus I need to talk to you about my rear sets. I want to get them on before the season starts. I was going to save some money and make them, if you have the time, but if not I will just buy them. I still havent found any pegs. I will just give you a call thursday night after work to talk with you about this. Oh yeah, lets get some rides going, I am itching to ride since I have been in high 60 degree weather for two weeks without a bike.

So who is interested in riding to Iron Mountain in the UP to meet DaveS and all the guys for the Uly ride. I am trying to plot a route with stops and times for people to meet up with us. I am planning on leaving Friday morning and riding straight through up there. I will be leaving sunday to come back down the western side of the state. I will be stopping off at my families property just south of Cadillac for the night, anyone is welcome to tag along, then monday heading out. I need to make a short pitstop in White Cloud to say hi to some old friends, then back on the road to finish the trip. Like I said I havent planned out the route, just trying to see who is coming and where and when we are all going to meet up.

I would be up for the ride, but I will have my bike at work, hopefully putting it back together, and detailing it out for a show for some harley engineers. Spidey you would luv this one. I got asked to bring my bike in to work to put on display, we have some harley engineers coming in to check out our shop for drivetrain nvh work. The three guys that own harleys and me were all asked to bring our bikes in to put on display for when they come. I was thinking about geting a harley shield sticker on my fly screen and putting a slash through it just for kicks.

Definitly want to meet up and ride with you guys! I don't think I will be able to go to Iron Mountain, but I am working on Home coming (with a ranger roll if necessary)

I'd like to hook up with you in April, but I don't think my bike will be done by then. Where are you going to meet and where are you planning on riding? Just in case.

I think the only two left in the area, is Brighton, and Biker Bobs (formerly Motown). I think there is one way up North too, by Traverse City.

American HD/Buell in AA is also a dealer. Just bought my Uly there last week. Town & Country (Cement City and Tecumseh) both have Buell's on the floor.

Spidey You know I dont know who is still a buell dealer, I dont deal with the local shops. If I need maintenance done, I bring it to you. Which reminds me, I may be bringing it out to you if I cant figure out the neutral light problem. I am bringing it into work this weekend, and while I am doing my rear sets, I am going to take a look at a couple things. I may just disconnect the neutral switch. I will let you know.

Biker Bob's in Taylor still deals with Buell. I've been treated very good by them.

I was just at biker bobs in taylor today. They have one buell in the showroom. Its an 05 uly. Nothing else buell related anywhere. I was checking on gaskets for my primary cover, and they gave me a really dumb look like they had no idea what I was talking about when I mentioned buell.

What days do you guys have off to do a ride. I have a pretty easy schedule, and I am usually off every other Fri, Sat, Sun.

We should start doing a regular ride with everyone from South East Michigan.

I am off on sat and sun. Unless overtime comes available. But for the next month I am tied up with remodeling a bedroom for a baby on the way due the end of june. I may be able to free up a day to go riding once I get my bike back on the road though. Let me know what days and I will let you know if I can go. It would be cool to meet some other local buellers.

I called Bob's in Taylor. They have no plans to dump their Buell franchise. I was told they sold the supply of Buells they had in March and were looking to the other dealerships that still had them for more. American H/D no longer deals with Buell. As to why anyone at Bob's would look dumb when asked any questions about Buell??? Maybe because.......they really are dumb. All I can tell you is I've have been very satisfied with that dealership so far. They treat me great. At any rate I sent Jugallo94 posting to GM at Bob's. See what happens. Hope you guys will post up any rides planned, I would like to hook up with some other Buellers.

" American H/D no longer deals with Buell."

Not sure where this info comes from, but the American HD dealer in Ann Arbor has a bunch of Buells, and that's where I just bought my Uly.
