It was never intended for everyone to have the signatures "last night". Koz had the new logo finished and put onto a 11x17 sheet. It will remain at Rick's desk until sometime in June or July. That will give everyone the opportunity to sign the page. Sorry if there was some confusion! I didn't know the page would be there last night until Friday afternoon. That being said....please feel free to stop at Hal's to sign the birthday card for Erik Buell. Rick will have it at his desk. As a reminder...Rick is off on Thursdays. Your humble leader, Dennis | ||

Actually, besides the fact that I had offered to make the card/poster thingy to sign I clearly remember Dennis saying that it was going to be at the February meeting to sign. If you weren't there (the January meeting), or you were there and didn't hear Dennis say that well, how is that his fault? As of last night when I dropped the card off no one has signed it, not even myself. I was kinda waiting for the whole group to do it. I would hope this info is in the minutes from the last meeting. But if it isn't then maybe I am wrong (which has happened before, ask my girlfriend). Either way this is for sure. 1. the card is done 2. the new logo is done and adjusted to BRAG regulations (hopefully it will be ok'd by them) If you want to see it, go and sign the card 3. As soon as the weather warms up and we start riding life will be better. 4. Michael Jackson is really a freak! 5. Somebody needs to bring Rick a steak for his eye 'cause he has one hell of a shiner still from last weeks rumble. 6. I drove to Hal's last night, I didn't get called, and I still have no hate for anyone 7. Dennis asked me to take care of getting this card done so if you have questions/concerns about it just ask. (delegation of duties... what a concept) 8. eight... I forget what eight was for (little violent Fems for ya....) 9. Signing this card will not make you imortal, improve your quality of life, or fix leaky rocker box gaskets. So don't treat it as such. 10. There will be another meeting and you are invited to show up provided you pay your dues and prove your status as a current BRAG member. Other then that I don't know much... Honestly though. If we have our portion of the card and it takes some time to sign it and we are one of the closest dealers to the Factory, I think we can make sure we get our signatures done and get the card there on time. Even if I have to hand carry it on my M2 91 pony express. I am planning on going to East Troy that day anyway..... | ||

Never said it was Dennis fault, he's my buddy !! Just didn't think I heard it although I could have missed it easily, and trying to back up Mike so he wouldn't feel like the only one who didn't know the facts ! Dennis said he didn't know it until this past Friday in his post, so I was just giving him a hard time, it's my job !! I don't think if I miss signing it that anyone will cry over it, surely not me !! I don't take any of this seriously it's what I do for fun !! I do however feel bad for Rick, poor guy, I tried to tell him NOT to do it !!!! CJM  | ||

Hey everybody, Are we having fun yet???  There was never an "official" signing night to my knowledge. I wasn't even aware that Koz had finished the new and improved logo. Nice touch though, putting it on the sheet we're going to send in the card. It would be a bit early anyway to have a "final" signing, considering we have until summer. Plenty of new Buellers to join us by then. As far as being "my project", I'm just a cog in the skunk works. Just helping out without trying to screw up too badly. So feel free to sign away. As far as a phone and e-mail contact list. I will be working with Rick on this one. Actually Kirk is interested as well. It seams as though the official list with BRAG has only four members of Brew City BRAG. **Not even close to acurate** as that list is about 2 years old. As far as a "good" secratary having that info, your right. We have most of the info in multiple formats and most of them are with Rick, as well as a ton of "members" who we have never ever been heard from. I am going to retreive them tonight from Rick and put them in a database for us to use. The new supercomputer at home is ready and waiting. I'm not sure how long this will take me, but HOPEFULLY by the March meeting I will have something put together. Rant: **Who woulda thought we would have had a snow cacellation this winter!!! It only snowed 3" and it took me over 1 hour to go 15 miles to home. How pathetic? So why is everyone buying SUV's and all-wheel-drive cars anyway? Cars and trucks are like motorcycles, they can only be used to the operators ability.** Ok Rant over. Jerry P.S. Keep February 22nd open for a party at our new pad. P.S.S. Is there a problem with paying dues and proving status to belong to an organized club??? There is nothing stoping anyone from sending in their signature on your own card to celebrate. Personally I think that if you want to sign a card that is from the Brew City club you should be a member of Brew City. Am I wrong??? | ||

No, but the implied intent is that it has become a "members only" club, visitors and cash poor need not show up. That #10 line had nothing to do with signing the card. I paid my money, but cant prove I am a current member. I have no paperwork to prove it. And just like our HOG meetings, I thought visitors were always welcome? Hell I attended a number of Ukes club meetings yet I never formally joined. I guess I should have been banished?? I also dont believe it was ever stated anywheres that this card for Erik was a "members only" type deal. I like vacations & enjoy small trips, but Ego trips & power trips have no place in a small club like Brag. |
