Missed the meeting myself. I left the house about 5:30 & 10 minutes later the lake effect snow was so bad I couldnt see the my hood. Turned around & came home. Only snowed about 1/2 hr but it came down real hard. | ||

FYI, Koz brought in the revised revision of the original revision revised for the Brew City Logo and patch. It is really Bitchin!!! Think you all will be proud of it. Rick has it at his desk and it includes the 11 x 17 for the 20th anniversary card. Stop in and take a look when you get a chance. We passed on being the first to sign it as that pretty much is Blastin's project and would not want to tread on his format. LOL | ||

Sorry about the people that we missed on the cancelled meeting. I think we need to get a phone list together. I only had a select few #'s at home. Rick didn't have everyone's number either. I could even see across the street at my house. I figured an hour's drive was pushing my luck (even with 4 wheel drive). We'll resume our normal meeting schedule. Maybe with a little (or a lot) of luck, the next meeting will be bike worthy weather  | ||

Just trying to understand something, and keeping it in the local section here so as not to get yelled at. The Erik card deal: apparently some format of a card was to be at the BRAG meeting last night for signatures, then this card was apparently going to be sent away to Michigan for processing into some sort of format. Does this mean that the only chance anyone had to have their signature included on the card would have been at the meeting? I have absolutely no clear clue WTF is going on with this card deal. While I can appreciate and fully understand that organizing an event is a fairly involved process, basically, sometimes the "organizers" have to provide some clear communication to the group membership if the organizers are to expect the support and participation of said membership. Thanks for the confusion dudes, I have no clue WTF is going on with this whole deal, and currently feel like I'm left out in the cold. Communication is critical in matters of coordination if you want the support and cooperation of the membership. And telling us to just stay out of it until you fill us in is not completely satisfactory nor justified. If I'm wrong in my appraisal of this situation them I'm sorry. If not, then so be it. Life is what you make it to some extent. And right about now, based on what smells are emanating from the kitchen, I'm thinkin' I should just go out into the woods and kill somethin' and cook my own dinner. Stay between the ditches people, I think some corners are coming up, and a few horsepies may be in the road as well. Jerry, Can you provide some clarity on this the next time you log in and have a few minutes? Thanks. Mike....You've apparently been MIA for the last few months. This has been talked about in our meetings for AT LEAST the past 5 months. In addition, there was a blurb in the past Fuell issue (next to the last page, I beleive). In addition to that addition, there will be a longer article in the next Fuell issue. In addition to the addition of the addition, it has been discussed adnausium (sp?) on BWB. Now to help clarify matters: There will be birthday "card" presented to Erik on Wednesday, August 20, 2003. This card is being compiled by Tony (aka Spiderman) at American Buell in Ann Arbor, MI. The signatures are being requested in one of two manners. Manner #1: Each BRAG chapter is being asked to send an 11x17 sheet of paper with their chapter name & signatures. This will be forwarded to Spiderman sometime in late June or early July. Manner #2: For those people that are not BRAG members;, don't belong to a local club or don't have a local club, they can send a piece of paper with their signature and/or a brief message to Spiderman. Forgive me if I don't have his address handy. He can either send him an email requesting his address. Or check your latest Fuell. Or look in the dealer locater for American Buell on the Buell.com website. Sorry to sound bitchy. I hope that clears the waters for you. | ||

A lot of stuff has been talked about for the past 5 months, nothing was ever clearly stated, but there was a bunch of miscommunication given. Then today I read about the card getting sent off. Dennis, everyone knows about the signature deal. I think Mike was more suprised that all of sudden it was gonna be done last night & then sent off to Tony. I didnt know you were planning on doing it last night either. I guess that makes us both deaf, dumb, blind & or ignorant. |
