Attention Uke's B.R.A.G. Club Officers: You should receive your registration form for the HOG Primary Officer Training in the mail soon. If you can make the session in Oak Brook (or one of the other sesions) sign up right away. The spaces fill up fast. It looks like I'll be out of the state at that time, so if one of the Discretionary Officers would like to take my place, I will give you my registration card. This is GOOD stuff. And Harley will treat you well. Email me if you have questions. | ||

Oh great, cause I really need another reason to want a Lightning. I just couldn't justify getting rid of my other bike to get one since Heather's using it and she doesn't really fit well on the Lightning. I don't really want a lowered suspension but I could get a regular one and buy just the low seat to switch back and forth for when she rides it. That should be enough to make her more comfortable on it. Not that I've really thought about this... | ||

Alright, Ukers . . .by now, those of you who were at the meeting have had a chance to read the latest issue if the newsletter (soon to be named "Braggin Rights," take bow, Don) and have wondered, "who the hell is Old and in the Way, and why did he fill up the newsletter with his drivel . . .. . well, look for more of the same unless you give me something better to put in there . . . . . and, yes, this IS a threat! Wanted . . . .writing that can be plopped into the newsletter, ideas that could be turned into writing that can be plopped, photos, line drawings, pieces on modifications you done, ya da ya da ya da . . . .. . | ||

Dana, I haven't had a chance to get to those covers yet. Been in the office, out of the office and back in again. I think I should be able to get them out and keep the hole size the same, at least that's my plan. Then again, others could probably tell you how plans have worked out for me in the past. Bomber, this brings me to a newsletter idea. How about something on bike transformations? Dana has taken an M2 to an S1, I know you're doing some fun stuff to yours and Don's taken an S3 and turned it into a Buell collage. Just thinking out loud. Oh, and don't forget, Kate has volunteered to proofread. | ||
