TeePees are still there. K40 is still there also! But now I'm in Atlanta and waiting for the first Sunday of the month to meet this award winning BRAG group they have down here. The roads are sweet. | ||

Court, Tried to tell Mr. Patterson Hi for ya, but didn't see him (not that I know what he looks like, mind you, but I was looking for a tag). Was kind of dissapointed with the Buell turnout over there. The 2 that we talked to weren't very "into" Buells, and the others that showed up didn't appear to be overly social to fellow Buell riders. Oh well. Guess we'll just keep up our "kernel" (as Racerboy puts it...) of Buellers over here  Lots O bikes at the "poker run" We didn't stick around for the ride itself. Needed FOOOOOD LOL. Lotsa neat hardware though. It amazes me how different the riders are over in Topeka. Alot of them still ride Shovelheads, and ironheads w/ long beards and weathered faces. Most all the customers we get at Central, are clean cut-park-my-bike-in-the-garage-for-my-friends-to-look-at yuppies. You rarely see a Shovel rider for a Poker run. I guess I admire those guys cause they're like us techs....always workin on their shit, heehee. (Did I just say that out loud??)  Tomorrow night 7p.m. at PQ's (Patty o' Quigleys)..Sam likes that place cause of all the "tail" that shows up, hehe. Be there or be square  | ||

Yea Frank, but when they're not working on them, they're ridin' em...And that's also just like you...About the other Buellers...We received lists of all the Buell's sold in STL from the dealers and contacted each one...For each fifty you contact you maybe, maybe get one interested...Don't know why...And then the ones who show up mostly find that they're not like us and our miles discourage them pretty quickly...But there is a good side to this in that I kinda liked our small SLAB group (Josh said this before me) because I knew everyone very well...On our HSTA rides of 20 to 30 we've had crashes on almost each ride because we don't know all the riders and they don't know us...SLAB never had that problem...Oh, we had the occasional get off but nothing like I've experienced with HSTA...It's snowing like hell here...Glad I was able to ride today as it's going to be a while... Hey guys, I don't know if this is too far for you but we meet every second Saturday in Rolla...This coming Saturday we'll be at the G & B Steakhouse on south 63 at noon...From 470 and 70 it would be about 208 miles...That's a bunch for a lunch ride but I just thought I'd mention it...I've already influenced these HSTAers to change their meeting and eating place in Rolla from the Steak 'n Shake to somewhere else but I heard rumblings that they really wanted to stay in Rolla as it's central to a bunch of them...
