March 18, 2006

This month's meeting was held @ Shelton's H-D/Buell, Goldsboro N.C.

Meeting was called to order @ 11:30 AM

In attendance:
Dave Dusterbeg
Carlos Suarez
Brankin Brehmer
Mike Luddy Jr
Larry Ezzel
John Martindale

Business covered:

C-3 Jr ride- discussed date for ride, which is May 13th, anyone interested should contact Carlos or Jim Nance

Discussed any plans for the AMA round @ VIR. Brankin has some contacts wondering if the group was going. We also discussed accomodations for the event. Need to look into camping @ VIR for this event.

Discussed reasons for needing membership dues-Dues are needed to have money to advance plans such as stickers and patches, to have seed money to do fund raisers to have more money to be able to do things like Battletrax events or hire in Eric for special events.

Discussed finding a new director and secretary-With Dave and Pauetta moving to Indiana, the chapter is in need of a director and secretary. Secretary Pauletta has already gone to Indiana and Director Dave will only be in N.C. until the end of April. All in attendance agreed to discuss the matter further over the next month via BadWeb.

Stickers-Carlos is looking into getting C-3 stickers made, would like to have some ready before March Badness 3.

discussed if it was possible to be a member of multiple BRAG chapters. It was determined that the answer is yes.

Meeting was ajourned at 1:30 PM.

The group minus John Martindale (he was busy with closings) went for a ride.

Forgot to add one item:

Two XBRR posters donated by Buell C/O Court Canfield via Brankin were given away.

The lucky winners were Mike and Larry.

See what you miss by not being there!

Come next month and see what happens!

Dave, Dave, Dave...

I can see you raising a stink when (corporate) BRAG mis-spells your name, but when you mis-spell your own last name yourself...

Dave Dusterbeg

Sorry, just have to give the soon to be 'Defector Director' a hard time while I still can.

Spelling is highly over rated.

You know, my name has been mis-spelled, mis-pronounced and mis-intended more than once, but since probably the second grade I have not mis-spelled my own name.

Like Brankin said, while I still can, not like 700 miles is going to save you from harassment or anything.
