Yes, the dates for the Springfast are set in stone. June 2nd, 3rd, and 4th.
Alex waits until the last day? LOL

Keep an eye here, we'll post the dates for all our planned rides here in another week or two.

Bart, we're well, too much work, not enough riding, but life is still bitchin'! : )

our '06 ride budget is already spent (most of it dedicated to BRATPAC II) so, sorry, no New Hamster for us this year. : (

last i heard, Gentleman Jim Attebery is riding east with me for BRATPAC this September, maybe we can snag you on our way thru NM???

IAMike, Rockstock in '07 sounds like fun. me 'n D are planning 30 days on the road for this one - it'll be our biggest trip yet. looks like the timeframe should be late July-early August.

y'all have fun at Springfast II, and try not to hold up any blue FJR's this time...

Come join us for dinner in Dallas!

Dinner on Monday, January 23 is at Up-N-Smoke BBQ in Keller (just north of DFW). We're eating at 7pm, but several DFW Buellers will be there for libations and bench racing (lies, all lies) at 6:30. Word has it that several "famous" Buell factory types will show their faces (Erik came last year and surprised us all!). See the Dallas/Ft. Worth Metroplex Buellers for more details and to RSVP.

Get a very affordable Southwest Airlines flight and join us! I work at Love Field and can help with transportation if you need it.

Y'all come!

Wow, Bart. The list looks impressive. Lots of time on the high road, or good chunks of it. I didn't notice dates or even months for these rides. What's the tenative schedule? I got Springfast in June and probably Taos in August. What about the rest? Hoping to be back soon and back to real riding. I split lanes for 12 miles last Wednesday in heavy traffic. Sucks.

On the up side, those Pirellis are awesome. Three thousand miles on them and they still look practically new. The Dunlop woulda been toast well before this.

AL,
Yes, the dates are set in stone. Dang, and I was looking forward to seeing you jump onto that dang pool dome this year!!! : )
Perhaps you can make one of the other rides? We also have a Western Colorado ride planned later in the summer.

CJ,
The dates will be set for the rest of the rides in about two weeks. I'm still waiting for feedback from the AZ crowd on one of the rides, and then we can submit the list to BRAG. Hopefully they will Participate in one of the major rides.
thinking of coming back, eh? : ) Woohoo!!! It's be nice to ride with someone on a Buell again, LOL. My GF just bought a '99 X1 off of eBay last night. We may drive out to pick it up this coming weekend. Although I was hoping to go to Phoenix to soak up some of that AZ sun.

I'll post the dates for all the rides as soon as they are finalized.

Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body,
but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting: "...holy shitt...what a ride!"

I'm riding to the Wall in May on the new Uly but the June ride looks good with a crowd like that. Come to think of it I think I'd have to tack it on the end of the Wall ride and get to AZ a bit early? Gota think on this a bit, but I'm going to make one of those rides somehow!

LOL, it wasn't only just in Payson I got lost in.
So what DID I do in that Lesbian bar in Show Low anyway? It took longer to find my room Sat. night than to get back to hwy 260!!! I'm lucky no Arizonaian tried to ventilate this confused Californian during The Great Unibear Room Finding Adventure!
I just tend to not listen to directions and just march to my own drum!

I should be in Kingman AZ on May 17 then Gallup NM on the 18th then Cimarron NM on the 19th on the way back to DC. The guys I'm riding with usually run somewhat harder headed back west so I might be back in New Mexico just in time.

Wow Bart!
Good to see that you're busy making plans for the year. I'm sure I'll be able to go on a couple of rides, but not as many as I'd like I'm sure.
It will warm up again soon and more people will be looking to ride, so I'm sure there will be bikes all over AZ soon... Hopefully some more of them Buells. Those of you in NM might have to wait awhile before you can venture out with heated vests, gloves, pants, helmets, neck warmers...he he he

Here's a couple small pics of me learning what my Buell is capable of at Firebird Raceway.

I don't know when I'm moving back. Gotta get a job first. I'll call you when I get in.

Did you get a new cell phone? I got a call from 602 that I missed tonight and no message. Was that you?

Dude, sorry I didn't call you back. I've been running around like a mad man.

I bought a new house in Enchanted Hills section of Rio Rancho. It's going to be built this summer and should be done by Sept/Oct, hopefully sooner. They said 8 months but it could be six months. We'll see.

Meanwhile, the job search continues. I'll call you later on when I get some time.
