Joe, my top secret experiment was going to be stroking the motor....however It has now been termed "ill-advised" by those in the know! now we are back to the big money question: 1200 bore kit? and heads? custom headers? Cool! I keep telling my GF the things I want for X-Mas like! XB9R race kit, but she has other plans for our money, and my safety as she sees it!!! Its hard convincing a pregnant girl to buy cool things to make your motorcycle go faster! Anyone else have this problem? | ||

Mine's not pregnant! However, She works in a very graphic area of the hospital and I do have to listen to countless tales of "you should see the dead guy I took pictures of today... he was on a motorcycle..." I don't think it would be a breeze to convince her I need "go faster" parts...I took her and her daughter to the MX Freestyle thing at Kemper...I think it gave her a whole new grasp of what stupid looks like(it was freaking awesome)! | ||

So where are we meeting at in this gloriously warm winter weather ( :P Tripper :P )on Thursday? Suggestions? Anyone? I'll prolly ride if the roads ain't icy  Maybe I should put those grips on in the next couple of days...hmmmmmmmm..... Oh yea...talked to my contact about my frame...the guy hasn't even started on it  Gonna get right on it after the first of the year...we'll see what happens. Doubt I'll chrome my wheels...might take another month and a half. It didn't take long at all to clean them up this time. It's a wonder wwhat a 3 in buffing wheel, and mother's will do And yup...its true...Buell motors are officially obsolete. Bout the only way to get a Buell motor now, would be to put the thunderstorm heads and pistons in a sporty motor along with the cams of course. May as well Nallanize before going through all that horseshit, hehe. Maybe they will have a H-D part number next year if they put em in the all new sporty's | ||
