I have to start off by thanking Mikel for that disk. Vinny and I were able to see the adjustments we need to make simply because of the most excellent photos you took. So Vinny says a BIG thank you too. Dude, you could so make $$$$ by shooting newbs and then showing/instructing them at the track... Aaron, it was nice to meet you too. I kinda hoped more peeps would show (sorry to hear about your spill Jeremy) but it was a great time for sure. Ski, if you're on here, sorry I didn't drop by or even call. We were literally running around the whole weekend and by the time I got stopped, I passed out from exhaustion. Carey, good to see you. Hope you can make it out in March. All, don't laugh at my form, it looks akward but fast enough. I kept having to brake behind people cuz I wasn't allowed to pass in the corners in the newb class. I need a shorter seat for my XB9SX. I can't flat foot on my bike because I'm too short. Does anyone know where I can get a short seat for less than $100? Also, where can I get frame sliders for my bike? I'm starting to get into stunts and if I bail out, I'd really rather avoid a dented frame. Please bear with me, I'm new to the whole crotch rocket thing and customization is a foreign concept. Thanks | ||

I do have to comment now on all those threads about brakes. I never had an opinion before because I had never worked them that hard. I weigh way more than your average joe at 240 lbs. I was late braking all day because it was the only way to make up the time lost on the straight to catch Vinny's GSXR (If I was allowed to pass him, I could have all day...). Anyway, I was working them really hard and they never pulsed or felt mushy once! I realize we were only out there 15 min at a time, but it should've been enough time to notice a shortcoming. As for me and my opinion, myth busted... | ||

HEY CHARLIE, I HAD PROBLEMS WITH MINE. I DON'T KNOW WHAT TOP SPEED WAS AT THE END OF THE MAIN STRAIGHT, BUT MINE WAS ABOUT 115-120MPH.I COMPLETELY COOKED MY FRONT ROTOR,ITS NOW TRICOLOR PURPLE,ORANGE AND BLUE.I HAD SOME SLIGHT BRAKE FADE,LUCKILY I WAS ABLE TO ADJUST MY CRG LEVER TO COMPENSATE WHILE STILL OUT ON THE TRACK AND NOT LOOSE ANY TIME. Hey all, I had a great time as well this Sunday. Seeing new Buellers was great! Babyhuey is right, if we could all get in the same group that would be great. The more the merrier. I don't know for sure if I'll be there next month, but I'll be doing everything I can to get there! Those of you who don't know if it's worth the money, well it is. Andrew, Looking at my rotor when I got home, it was purplish blue, but I had no probs. What pads do you run? I run EBC. I hear there are better but these are a little cheaper and work for me! Kelly, you guys were in intermediate weren't you? I'll probably take the stepping stone approach and end up in super street next time... | ||

yeah we run in intermediate. While I do get passed in that group it helps me to get better by running with better riders than me. Just keep that in mind... This is one of the pics I bought from Byron. My new favorite. I can't wait to frame it!  | ||

Nice pics Wycked! As for the ride, I'm up for where ever anyone wants to go. I just dropped my bike off the have the REAL kickstand put on so I'm ready to go. If no one has any input, I vote for hwy 89, maybe even go to Jerome. I know we've done it alot, but I love that stretch of road. If anyone has any other ideas throw it out there. | ||

Ii usually run 6-700 width and let the aspect ratio keep the height adjusted automatically. Make sure to compress the image to no more than 60kb | ||

Hi Charlieboy6649, I don't think we met at the track day. I was only there for half the day. As a spectator. Sorry about the picture. Sorry to here you're in Yuma, too. I was stuck there at MCAS for 3years 95-98 w/ MWSS-371. I was an HE Mech. I maintained some of the gear for CFR. Maybe will meet at the next track day or the next ride. | ||
