Anyone up for a ride this weekend, or am I going to be the only glutton for punishment out there?

Dennis,

I was not nominated for Treasurer, it was the guy sitting next to me on my right. I don't know his name though, you would have to ask Rick.

I didn't see that. I just didn't want to get accidently elected to a position. Did anyone notice that Hals has been putting items for sale on EBAY? I saw that they had a shark tooth rear pulley on there and a few other parts. So baring a snowstorm who's going to ride to the Christmas party?

On a side note I was looking at the website for the Milwaukee Ralley and I noticed that we were one of the organized groups mentioned. If we were to have our patches/shirts/whatever done maybe we could set up a small table at the Hals booth or something? Just a thought...

Anyone want to go to Toys for Tots in Chicago on December 1st? Its a parade ride once you get there. All you need to bring is a new toy for a child. I've heard it is a good time. If the weather cooperates, I think I'll go.

Toys for tots run is for a good cause, but it's not all that it is cracked up to be. If you don't mind riding with 2000 other bikes on a ride that is about 5 miles long in bumper to bumber traffic moving at 3 miles an hour. With your bike overheating underneath you, your clutch hand getting sore and tired and the biggest Harley attitude surrounding ya, by all means have a nice time.

I would love to go down and see the event, I'm sure not experienced enough to ride in it! Would rather watch it and wave from the sidewalks !!

Alright, I’m asking for some advice . . .. . car-type

While Ford and I arm-wrestle over why they won’t honor my blown engine under warranty (99 Mustang GT), I need to get it operating . . ..

Anyone have a good shop they can recommend? I think the quickest/easiest route is a new shortblock with my existing intake/exhaust/electrics installed, but I have no idea where to find a shop that’s worth the effort and dollars?

thanks

Bomber...How far are you willing to "travel"? I can contact some friends locally but they're all in the Lake Geneva area.

Reminder to all Brew City BRAG Members!!!!

The holiday party is this Sunday. We're meeting at Saz's on State at 11:30am.

Hal's has generously donated some merchandise for raffle items. The cost of brunch is $11.50 each.

Also a reminder that there will not be a December meeting.

See ya all on Sunday!

I might be only one on Sunday, two possibly, but one probably due to prior committments. If I show up blurry then count me as 1.5.

(I have no idea what that means, I'll figure it out later....)
