Bomber, Your right, no mention of the bike. I just assumed that "We'll Fix it" meant it had to be there. Remember...I am Mechanically Declined. LOL FYI, I just got the bike stand and have it field stripped, but I need to get a service manual before I go any further. Have been studying various routings for the breather lines and agree with your method. Am thinking about combining that with the Jazz Can install under the air scoop as shown in the Knowledge vault and the X1 Files. Will only result in a little dip in the line and is well concealed. Would do the entire project like the one in the KV and drill/chamfer the rocker boxes, but I need some OJT while removing the tank, et al. You know, like a surgeon's "fear of the first cut." Oh, what's your call on the Scotch??? | ||

Bill easy jobs, all of em . . . removing the rocker boxes is the only part of the job that required an oddball tool (cut down allen wrench . . . I'll make ya one, if you like) . . . I'll be glad to either walk you through em, or, conversely, it ain't like you live on, say, the west coast, I could come on up some saturday . . . single malt, unblended, natch | ||

a little off topic, but if anyone knows of any relatives/friends/etc who might be selling a car, let me know as I'm in the market......its got to be cheap (<$2500) and the higher the MPG the better. Just looking for basic transportation: Honda Civic/Dodge Neon/etc. In the perfect world, it would be black with a 5 speed. I've looked at two cars i found off the internet and have been thoroughly disapointed after making two drives to Chicago... One was a complete joke! supposedly rust/dent free....turned out all the rust was painted over with spraypaint and the door was caved in. Regards, WFO | ||
