Well I wonder if my day will get better today??? Just got off the phone with the local HI FI repairmen at a Stereo store.I sent my receiver in last Tuesday to find out the Amplifier has a problem that is repairable but beyond what I want to spend. Thats "TWO" Sony receivers in 5 years.First one within the first year it got warrantied. The second lasted me 4 years. Mind you this unit was probably there best unit. Man don't they make electronics that work anymore?? What I do know is I'm not buying crap from Bestbuy. Everything I've gotten from them with the name Sony on it was junk. Sounded awesome but no longevity | ||

Dana, Harman Kardon, Onkyo, or Yamaha. In that order. The HKs will be more expensive. The Onkyos are always a good value. All 3 will last longer than SONY. | ||

Steve I thought about Harmon Kardon and Yamaha but I've been looking at some Marantz equipment.Marantz entry level is like 5 bones. I remember when they were awesome in the 70's and early 80's then they were cheap junk after that. But now I guess new ownership since 2000 and they are selling really good stuff now. | ||

recent Marantz stuff is okay. I still think HK stuff sounds more musical  Or you could do waht I did, say screw the reciever crap, and go with seperates. I've got a pair of their 4.3.2 amps Then get a preamp/processor from either B&K, Marantz, Sunfire or outlaw audio. Dana, bike looks good. I'm still scratching my head about the headlight issue though.  Tom (and Girls), Jason, Heather, Nancy and Mike it was nice seeing you all again. Looking forward to racing and riding season so we can see ya all more often. Jason, I just bought those tires off Ebay. I figured $139 was worth a look. I'll let ya know how they are when I get them. Nice to have a small get together yesterday!!! I am glad you were feeling better Hellion.  Jay the bike is cool!! Karri Ann thanks for bringing some snacks... Tom, glad you and the girls came over for a while and had a couple of beers  tell Kelli we missed her.. Jon I hope you feel better!! Goliath was looking for you today Rocco...needs to be petted LOL  He loves you to pieces!! Great to see you too Coolice and Nancy! Got the reciever hooked up this am kids are now watching Jurassic Park...sounds better than the old one!!! Got lots to do today!!! Now we all need to figure out the plans for the IMS show!!! Dana, how's the back? Jason, ordered the tires Sunday. Got them today. I went over them with a fine tooth comb and found nothing wrong with them. They seem to be brand spanking new. $136 for the front and rear, SHIPPED. Mich Pilot Race H-2's. Plus you get a butt load of stickers from the guy. I don't know if you or Tom are brand loyal, but for that price!? Go on ebay, go to ebay motors. Click on motorcycle parts, punch in Race. Go to items for sale store. He has more. | ||

I just heard some crazy frozen shmo go by on a Harley. Oh how I long for those warm summer nights out riding the bike. As I sit here cold and bitter. Winter really dose suck! I'm also looking forward to those nights I can ride to the meeting instead of taking the cage. | ||

Hey Wingnut- Don't knock the guy riding, I have put 270 miles on the Uly in the last three nites. Electric vests are all good  Gotta get it broke in for Daytona. Dana that looks sweet! I can't wait to see it in the sun......doe we have sun here ????? How are the lights? I will be adding lites to the Uly for night riding. | ||

Hellion, How are you feeling??? Sounds like your gettin a new table today!! Horray!! Last night was interesting...but Dick did not want the help ..Jay was great calling the 911 for me...he was in complete denial...when the pain lifted he decided not to go to the hospital..but later thanked me for the help...don't know why some people are like that  . Next time he may not be lucky and I was sure to tell him that!! Cold weather is coming ...HATE that thought...How many more days till spring??? I am just content sittin on her right now making the VROOOM VROOM noises!!! LOL | ||

We brought Toni's CityX home last night. Wow is that a nice bike. I got some weird looks, riding it down Bluemound Rd. Maybe it was because it was starting to snow pretty heavily btw, We picked up a computerized embroidery machine today. Used at a REALLY good price. So who wants T-shirts and patches? | ||

Yay! We got the new table. The manager on duty was a dick again, too. It's really sad because I love that store and their furniture, but their customer service stinks!!
