The idea is to meet at a common place at the track, do the coffee, donuts and bs thing and go in together ...as a group. Blake is busy getting race times and Lafayette suggested a meeting place. It'll all be posted here. Tickets are easy. For those of you who took up the "e-mail 7 dealers" challange....CONGRATULATIONS! I can now point to over 50 folks who are attending that had not prior to our banging the drum. Your contacts were very positive, very enthusiastic and the greater numbers will do more than you can possibly imagine for the future of BUELL RACING. Goodies will ship next week. . . Just to put us on the radar, there are 4 or 5 of us from Kansas City that are thinking about renting a van and driving to Daytona. If we do go, we have a place to stay (Shazam has family/friends down there). Vegasbueller- You might pencil us in for attending the BBQ, as we will be there if we make it down. We should have plans firmed up in the next couple of weeks. The guys are checking their work schedules, etc... We are thinking about leaving KC on Thursday and arriving Friday, hanging out on Friday and Saturday, and driving back on Sunday. I am anxious for the race and eager to meet all of you Badwebbers! Hopefully everything works out.  | |||

Tell the Corporate Comm group that included within the group of folks you are entertaining, are avionics buyers and you've intent on making certain no one chooses a Collins Microline.  I see write off written all over this. . . see if she wants to be a corporate underwriter of some great shirts. I'm teasing, by the way. But, do not fail to invite them. Buell and aviation have always gone pretty much hand in hand....they'd have a great time! | |||

 Ohh yeah that'll work! Actually... they are helping me out with drinks, etc and besides that, we have a bunch of Buell/HD fans in the Vegas end of things. I hope she is working on sending some of my LAS coworkers come to the 200! Bigdaddy...that is such an open ended question!  Actually, just keep and eye out here as I will be posting the address again, along with contact info. As it stands right now, we'l lhave people starting to show up on wednesday, and we will have a Friday and Saturday cookout. Vegasbueller- Just and idea, everytime a Buell event happens we all want to know who is who on Badweb and their real name. So anyone here have a idea for name tags etc? Here is my input, white gaffers tape and Sharpie markers at your place, as we arrive ask everyone to fill it out. The tape doesn't leave adhesive and you can "stick it" anywhere and it just peels off. Or since this is a big event for Buell returning to the 200,and the 65th Daytona Bikeweek, anybody have a idea for souvenir tags? I know your now busy with organizing this, just an idea. | |||

As it is, count me in for showing up for the BBQ. Court, when will you be there? I'm gonna be dropping the family off in Ocala and either riding my bike over or pulling it over and will have to find a place to park the van and trailer if I do. Look forward to meeting everyone. | |||

Jersey: That's an excellent idea. Will you be putting that together for us? If so, could you possibly add a block for staying overnight? Good idea coolice. I'll see what I can do. Many of these guys have met before. I will be easy to keep track of... I am the fat kid with the goatee that owns the house!  Lafayette and I are meeting Wednesday to see if we can find a rally point for before the race. We'll keep you posted on that as well. Any ideas how early before the race we want to meet? | |||

Well... doing the math..it looks like we have 12 people staying with us throughout bike week. That is about a full house as far as "indoor" room. We have another friend who lives just a mile or so away that has opened her house as well and she has room for three or four more. We have a 13X30 "Florida room" (Read that fully screened in porch that attatches to the screened in pool area) And you are more than welcome to pile up out there. I have taken many a long nap there! For those of you that are staying with us: We are going to Sam's/Costco and picking up breakfast makings so you can do your own cooking, etc. My wife has it in her head to cook a big breakfast for everyone on one of the mornings. She lived with a group of bikers when she was a teen so I think she enjoys the thought of everyone being here. The energy surrounding the whole weekend seems unending! What an awesome time this is going to be. |
