Well, I guess John wants to ride, do you think?...Okay, Eureka QT 9:00 a.m. Saturday, November 9th...We'll twist our way down to Rolla for lunch at noon and meet a bunch of HSTA guys and gals at the Steak 'n Shake for lunch...This is HSTA's regular Second Saturday Ride...We may just meet there and go on elsewhere for lunch...Hey!...How about the Elbow Inn for ribs?... We just got tickets for the Motorcycle show that are priced at $2 off the door price. The tickets are $7 . You can get them at Widman Motorcycle Sales at our parts counter. See you at the show. | ||

What a great day!...Sixteen showed up at the QT this morning on time and two more (couples, of course) a bit late, my cuz Greg and his wife Leigh among these two...From this board there was DAve, John, Kevin L, and moi...DAve rode with us as far at Bourbon and then had to return to do the family thing...We rode down to the Steak 'n Shake in Rolla and met up with more making a total of 24 scoots...Then on to the Elbow Inn for BBQ...And Capt Scott from Ft Wood showed up there on his X1...Good to meet you Scott...I bet Kevin put close to 400 miles on the duck today and boy did we get it DIRTY!...After the Elbow John took the lead and headed for Antartica...I mean we headed south on J and then on 63 all the way to Licking and 32...Then east to, where else, Bixby...Bridgit's employee was up on a ladder dusting all that stuff they have there and in comes a babe (Crystal) with a little girl in tow who we find out is the daughter-in-law of the duster...Bridgit proceeds to query us re our marital status and Kevin brightens up big time as they start match making with Crystal and Kev...Thing I still can't figure out is why someones mother-in-law is trying to fix up her daughter-in-law...There's a story here and I may have to get back to Bixby soon to discern what it is...It was raining when we left Bixby but we ran out of it going up 49 and Y to 8...Sprinkled on one more time at 185 and T...I'm beat...G'night!... | ||

Bob & John, Thanks for letting me tag along! I am now the proud owner of the dirtiest Ducati in Missouri... My riding skills were and still are a bit rusty and trying to keep sight of you two disappearing over hilltops was a chore. Some of those straights were a buck twenty plus trying to catch up. Thanks for having the PIA lights. Wet roads suck big time. Wet roads in the forest darkness suck even worse. Would I have rather road it out on super slab? Not a chance. Nothing like watching two S3's carve corners side by side on pitch black drizzling rain soaked asphalt. Lets do that again without the rain! | ||
