Tom....Try the Aerostich wraparound warmers. I've heard some great things about them. I have a pair on order for myself.

http://www.aerostich.com/riderwearhouse.store

At only $45.00, they seem like a great option.

I've seemed to have discovered a common connection between Buell owners and fire arms. After discovering Don has a paintball gun, and my first time ever playing paintball last weekend, it struck me that it might be cool to arrange a paintball 'war' between the mighty Uke's club and those wusses out of windy/brew city.

a new indoor paintball arena (it was an old raquet club....huge place) opened up in New Berlin recently and is actually co-owned by a Buell engineer. He said if we get a group of people up there, it would cost about $30-$40 per person for 3 hours and also includes 500 rounds of paintballs, rental guns, head protection, etc.

So, anybody up for something like that? I can look into it further if theres interest.

ehem . . . . ya sure ya want paintball?

it should be outside, in the bush, as much like the real thing as possible . . . be aware that, although my knees are old, I think my habits in this regard are still good . . . . . .do I get to pick my spotter/slack man?

Indoor paintball is way faster, more exciting than playing in the bush. Either way is fun, I just like rounding a corner and then having to engage your target at 1 yard ...

yeah, but in the bush, real skill shows . . . stalking skills and tactical thinking replace sheer firepower . . . .

waiting by a stream crossing with an L-shaped ambush . . . . mmmmmmm . . .now THERE'S FUN!

I like the outdoor games better, too. But indoor can rock if it's run well. Either way, I'll need WWWAAAAAYYYY more than 500 rounds. I can rip through that in the first 2 minutes.

Wes, what does your buddy charge for a case of paint? Do we have to buy field paint, or can we bring our own? Does he have high pressure (4500lb) air?

I'm in, baby, I'm in......
