Thanks for the B-day wishes everyone! Had a great day, a drive to Daves store to drop off Big Bird. Empty trailer back tho, have to go back to get the new ride when it comes in. I still have a couple of "special" Buells to haul home yet, my projects for Daytona and next season. How old? Won't be there. And that's by choice. Seems to me there is some things going on on other threads that I believe will be coming out in the open soon. Coolice thank you for letting me know about all the parts you had. I can't wait till spring to put the windshield on I do have to say that the lowers worked great but it's sad to say that I think that the bike is done till spring now that they salted the roads. | ||

Nothing much. Gonna start tearing down the S3 in a few weeks for some "upgrades" and rebuild the forks. If I can ever get away from working 65-80 hour weeks that is. Jason, ya work on your tranny yet? | ||

What kind of upgrades??? Forks leaking or just time to change the fluids?? Jason just brought up his tranny yesterday. Hes planning to start digging into it soon. | ||

Enough upgrades to be able to keep up with my Brother and his gixxer 600. It may require going up a 'tad' in displacement  There is a "clunk" in the front end. It has 21K on it, and the fluid has never been changed, so I'm thinkin' I need to do it anyhow. So I'll take 'em apart, probably add a gold valve kit as well while I'm at it. | ||

Steve....check your front isolator. Last time I had a little clunk in the front (differnt from junk in the trunk  ), it was caused by a bad front isolator. BTW....Got Sliders???? | ||

Sliders? What sliders? Thanks for the tip Dennis. Yeah, tools in the trunk tend to make a LOT of noise, don't they? I've been tempted to line the trunk with dynamat to dampen it a tad. | ||
