Looks like I'll be there:)

Jerry,
Can you do me a favor? I need to change my oil but I don't have time to drive/ride to Milwaukee for an oil filter. Can you pick one up for me? I'll reimburse ya on Sunday.

Mennis,
Sure I'll stop by on Saturday for one. Actualy thanks for the reminder. I need to do mine as well.

Can you send out the general E-mail to Brew City for Sunday's ride since you have the list?

Jerry

Oops...forgot the most important issue.

Anytime anyone from the area is looking for a riding partner, please feel free to email me at the address posted in my profile.

My schedule is quite flexible and no ride is too long, too short, too fast or too slow.

Looking forward to hearing from you!

Bill,

Flexible schedule...I wish I was that lucky. I'm working (well, sort of).

Great meeting you today. Sorry we didn't hook up earlier. We were on the tail end of the ride. Everyone was getting hungry. Not to mention we're all Packer fans (i think) and the game was on at 3:00pm.

See the posting for the Slimey Crud ride on October 6. Tons of bikes (of all makes & models). Brew City is leaving from the park & ride on Hwy 67 & Country RD (just south of I-94).

Mennis,

See you bright and early for the Slimey Crud Run. Would not miss it for (almost) anything. Have read about it for years in Peter Egan's column and this is my first opportunity to attend. Want to get some pics for my friends in SoCal. Should give them a better mental image of life outside their perceived "heaven."

Have a great day!

Chris,

Same here. Wish TWT would continue at Meat's but the new location should be just as much fun.

Looks like Spence had a pretty large group tonight. I met him a few weeks ago and he was real persuasive concerning adding Buells to his group. Have not followed up yet other than checking out their website. Looks like another fun group.

Let me know if you are planning any rides. More than happy to tag along.

Anybody have an older pickup in the back yard they want to get rid of? Running good, body don't matter as long as the snow won't get inside the cab, reliable, cheap/inexpensive. Has to be suitable for hauling a Buell (to keep this thread related on topic).
thanks.

Hey guys & gals....I'm still planning on riding the Slimey Crud next weekend. But....I'll meet ya all in Madison. I have a friend or two that are coming from the Lake Geneva area. We thought we'd save an hour of travel time by going directly to Madison.

Dennis,
How's the Lotus's, or Loti, or Lotu$$$$ days going? Did you snag a ride in a Europa? Or any other fancy beyond-my-price-range cars? Any pics?

No Europa rides. But they are one UGLY car (IMHO)! I did get to drive an Elise. What a great machine!!!! Rode in an Esprit V8 Twin Turbo:eek: Only $91,000 new. Saw some great rides. Pics to follow at a later date. I'm still using the old school film camera.

Yep, Europa look like a little boxcar that tangled with a sportscar, but they handle like they're on rails in the proper environment. Light and tight if they're set up properly. And a whole lot more affordable to us working folk.

I'd rather have an old Elan. I saw some nice older Elans set-up for SCCA racing. I wouldn't want to be stuck in a storm but fun little cars. They were all running SuperTrapp pipes with external discs (looked just like the Buell pipe).
