Oh, depending on the editor's mood and the timing it might be, but it's probably more along the lines of Thunderpress or Motorcyclist or RoadBike or remotely the Milwaukee Journal. It would be great to get it into the Enthusiast, but I doubt it would get past their front door let alone all the way to the editors. I'm taking a publication class and there's extra credit if something gets published, remote chance but I'm working on it. | ||

er, as Fuell is an H-D funded pub, and it's mission is to increase interest/sales/faith amungst the faithful, I'm not sure that a piece gently suggesting a fairly major change of habit on the part of Juneau Ave would be welcomed there of course I'll consider it, DOn, and thank you for the show of confidence (however misplaced ) . . . no joke? hard for me to imagine no jokes . . .hmmmm | ||

While I don't know Bomber from a shady tree limb, it sure sounded to me last night that he all over getting people together for the Slimey Crud Run and I see from other posts that he has orchestrated some things with other BRAG chapters. Someone who could *coordinate activities* in such a manner just might make a good activities coordinator... I don't know if it counts yet as I've been a member now for just over 12 hours, but I'll second it. | ||

Hey Grape, Glad someone missed me ! I went to TWT (Two Wheel Tuesday) which is a weekly motorcycle gathering in Milwaukee on Bluemound Rd. Last night was the last one for this season as the store is closing. Also, I think I'm going to be part of Brew City BRAG because of the location, especially since on meeting nights it's much easier going home after dark in this area (I'm in Franklin). It's much darker riding up from Uke's on Mtg night and I'd hate to have mechanical problems on my way home from there after dark. You guys seem to have a good, tight-knit group and I REALLY liked that there are a lot of women Buell riders in Uke's group. There's not many women at all in Brew City, but I've been to one of their meetings and on two rides with them. They seem to be willing to let me tag along, and riding is my main objective, I LOVE riding !! If all goes well (weather wise) I'm even going to do the Slimey Crud run with them, before recently I didn't even know what it was ! Surely as populated as this area is I'll eventually meet up with more women Buellers (and hopefully recruit them). And if you ever want to ride I'll get you my e-mail address or cell phone number (I'm always willing to meet up and ride with new folks)! Until then you guys ride Safe !!!! CJM Blast | ||

Grape, I was freezing on the way home too. I kept telling myself I must get better gear for the cold riding season. My hands went numb! Heh CMJ- I am sad that you are going to leave our UKe's Brag Club family. But, I understand about the hike from Franklin. I am glad to have met you. Kate . . .thank you for the kind words . . . my Drill Instructor TOLD me never to open my mouth >> One of the things that has me so stoked about the Uke's crew is the number of women . . . much less like a Junior High School Boys Locker Room with the ladies around (not that the locker does not have it's good points . . . . ) I've spent a lot more time riding with my wife over the last year (she's a returning biker -- got her a Blast last year for her b'day) . . . it's very different than hammering apexes with da boyz, but I enjoy both . . . . as for Act Coord . . . . youbetcha I'm open to the idea . . . . just a data point -- just like the newsletter editor doesn't necessarily write the whole newsletter (right, Don?), the Act Coord doesn't come up with all the ideas, yes? (o, I got ideas . . .some of them won't get me in trouble) again, thanks for the kind words . . . .I'll try to remember to bring a shadey tree limb to the next meeting, so's you can all tell the difference | ||

Bomber, I got the job!! It is about time too, was getting real tired of the 130 mile rd trip commute every day. Hell I havent had a job in Kenosha county in 20 yrs. Its always Illinois, but not anymore.  If you are willing to accept the postion of activities guru I would be willing to help ya out. Be kinda like Batman & Robin. | ||

It was great meeting you guys, and I agree with Bomber about having women along riding really does make it fun !! I like having the guys ride because it makes you push the edge a little so you can get better, but it's also great having the girls along, makes for a better balance. CJM |
