I would say a re schedule would be in order Mr Assistant Director..LOL, By the way, Pete are you coming to my Halloween party on the 22nd? Everyone is invited if your interested post your email....It's a blast..there will be 50+ people here..beer and Chili supplied, Unless you prefer something else let me know... I know it's a long drive...but it's worth it.. |

Har1ey: Nope, theres still plenty of people coming. Besides, this might be the last meeting of the year with nice riding weather. Why waste it? Also, I'm going no matter what, because my leather should be in.  |

cut and paste it a bunch of times to get a full page. cut the page into strips. keep some in your car, some on the bike. i have had mine for three weeks, but my car is no match for buells. if i had been on my bike, i might have had a couple of recruits |

I'll be there this weekend. We are going to be camping down there from Friday till Monday. So I will meet everyone at Bloomington Harley. My Dad is going to come with me on His Harley. If anyone wants to ride all weekend or stop by for a fire you'll be welcome to come by the campgrounds. |

Just outside of town at Hooiser National Forest. We also plan on riding to a kick a$$ hotdog stand in Columbus Sometime after the meeting. Everyone welcome to go. This will be the last weekend that they are open this year. Its worth the drive. |

Cool, sounds like fun to me. Otherwise I plan on meeting anyone else from Indy thats coming to the meeting at the usual time and place. I am thinking about going a little earlier though, I might have some business to conduct before the meeting. |

There are some decent curves between Bloomington and Columbus. Most involve going the LONG way, but that's ok too.
Raptor, is the hot dog stand you're referring to Mussillami's? Can't really think of any other place you might be talking about.

It was great meeting you guys today, I look forward to hearing from you all and future meetings. I can't overstate what a great dealership Bloomington HD-Buell is. I can't help but feel though, that some of the Harley guys looked at me and my CityX like we had just flown in from Mars |

Thats true. I could care less what the Harley guys or the rice-rocket guys think. Mark my words though, one day we will be able to say "I was Buell when Buell wasn't Cuell".

The next Hoosier Thunder Club BRAG meeting will take place on November 12th, at noon. Location of course will be Buell of Bloomington.
On the agenda:
Tips from the shop on how to prep your bike for winter storage.
There will be some discussion on various topics related to the BRAG chapter, more to come on that.
Possibly more, stay tuned.
Mark your calendars, Road America will take place June 1-4, 2006. Traditionally "Homecoming" is held at the same time so block off that week for a road-trip to East Troy! |

Sorry I couldn't make it to the meeting today. Work went a lot longer than I expected. Hope you guys had a good turn out. I will keep you guys up to date as far as my knee and my bike. I will try my best to make it to the next brag meeting. |

Just a note to say "HI" to all the fellow Buelligans. I'm sorry I could not stay at the BRAG meeting on Saturday but when duty calls you just have to answer. I feel we nailed a few things down and a little turns into a lot down the road. Thanks again for the turn out and hope to see all, and more, November 12 at noon.

Fasted- He is ok, and is going to be able to put a new paint job on his bike and will be out next summer. He was really lucky. We went back to the site and the curve was really tricky. It had a huge bend in it that is much more noticeable in a car or on a full size bike. On our way back just a mile up we saw a group of five or more full size bikes stopped in a curve who had the exact same thing happen. He laid it down with a passenger on the back and no helmets. They appeared to be ok, but it is a dangerous road. The guy who we left the bike with after it happened said accidents happen all the time within a mile of his house. He got really lucky.
I also wanted to say thanks and how much I appreciated for Jim letting me use his bike. It takes a great person just to let someone use his bike for the greater cause. I ended up finding my keys in my pants pocket. My son put my keys in the pocket at the bottom of my pants.
The meeting was great and I will see you all in November. |
