Sunday, oct. 23rd, Bear Mtn. Very informal day of enjoying perkins memorial drive, then rt. 218 along the scenic hudson twisties past west point and up to newburgh, over the bridge to the east side of the river and down through the backroads of putnam and westchester counties to Historic Sleepy Hollow, NY, Home of Washington Irving, who penned The Headless Horseman...likely we'll stop for a bite at The Horseman Tavern...followed by a nice cruise back up the eastern bank of the hudson to the Bear Mtn. Bridge, with perhaps a little more more twisty fun around the Bear Mtn. Park... Just thrown together at the last moment, expect nice roads and good folks and little else in the way of organization...
