So CJ when ya gonna show your face at a Belle City meeting and throw out some idea's??BTW I didn't say you guys shouldn't ride.If I mean't that I'd say that.I say whats on my mind.On another thread you told another that we (Belle City) sometimes ride with Brew City.Isn't Steve and Toni also a member of Belle City???What about you?? | ||

As long as we're just posting facts, everytime it was brought up at the meeting, Jason said "Just set a date." The stance of the club all along has been it is not up to one or four people what gets done or when. It has been stated at every meeting that people should take any weekend that is not listed on the schedule and plan a ride. So if you wanted to do something, you decide what and you decide when and just tell us all about it. It does not have to be filtered through anybody. Stepping up is if you wanted to go, you should have set the date at any one of those three meetings that worked for you.The only person who knows if you can make a certain date is you. That might not work for all of us, but oh well, it never will work out for Everybody. I AM NOT ATTACKING ANYONE EITHER, however, this has been a theme for our clubs for at least the last two years...... | ||

The Theme suck's Hellion it hasn't worked.As far as me bring up the ride the last 3 meeting is to set a date.All I got was yeah we need to do that.That is what the meeting is for and that wasn't done.Don't put it on my lap.We were all in the room and it could have been discussed right there.It wasn't... now that is the theme of are club. | ||

That would be Matt, he's not from Milwaukee but going to college here and has been on some rides with Brew City, I was trying to give him an idea of the close proximity of this group to Milwaukee that's all !! When I stop arguing???So where ya been this last year with idea's.I haven't been arguing all year long.Listen CJ I have been in contact with 4 yes four people that no longer come to meetings because WHY???...We offer not much in the ride department and these people I speak of are all people we picked up through Racine HD Buell this year.Now I have talked to 3 people off the street that I found locally in the last 2 1/2 weeks.Two new Buell owners and one that didn't know that we excisted.We also have one that has come to the last 2 meetings that I'm presently helping him find parts to put his bike back on the road.So that is a total of 7 people.3 lost 4 that I'm hoping to become.7 people in a year is awesome.Have not ever seen that at Uke's in the going on 6 years that I've been a part of the Brag club thing.I want the club to grow and be productive and hold its members 7 people is alot to lose in my book.This is not arguing CJ I want growth and that will make it more fun to be involved don't you think. | ||

Tom, do not feel jilted by CCS. It has come to my attention that the "Care Package" that I received today was nothing more than a ploy from a fellow newly licensed racer to try and sabotage my diet plans so that I may be hopefully competitive next year for racing. I would like this person to know that this has done nothing more than to strengthen my will and desire to lose even more weight and get in better Cardiovascular condition so that I may wipe the floor with said fellow racer......which by the way ain't no skinny-minny either!  | ||

Since I have clearly failed as director to pick up any and all balls that have been lobbed onto the court related to planning of rides, executing of others rides, and the like, I hereby resign as director. I have asked for anyone and everyone to take the ball and run with it if they had any rides that they wanted to do but to no avail. I have maintained from day one that if you wanted to do a ride, please schedule it and let us all know when you want to do it. If the expectation of the director is to handle any and all club events, which it clearly seems to be, then I simply do not have the time to dedicate to it. This is my first and last post on this subject. | ||

Wooh! I go away for a few hours, and look what happens  Being a director is not always easy. Everyone looks to *YOU* to plan and lead a ride. It doesn't always work as planned. I try a delgate a bit with Brew City, especially the ride leaders. I try and delegate that to someone less geographicly challenged than myself. Which usually falls on Toni, or Dave Klosterman, who btw, is VERY entertaining to watch flick an S3 like it's a pocket bike(he is an ex-roadracer). Just ask CJ I can get lost in a paper bag. I've planed several routes for Brew City that *ONE* member showed up for(Thanks Dora!). Big deal, everyone has a life. This isn't a HOG group, where the club is our life. We've also had meetings where 3 other people showed up besides Toni and myself. Big whoop! It doesn't matter, it's just a meeting. Although, they did miss out on some really good frozen custard afterwards There is no reason to get worked up over it like this. Jason, I wish you'd reconsider. You make a great director. But I understand WHY you'd want to. It's a thankless job. I for one do appreciate, and thank you for your efforts. And hope to do many more rides with you and your family in the future. If the current/future officers of Belle City wanted more participation, it takes effort. Not much though. I try and email everyone in Brew City with a notice prior to a ride, or meeting. I don't always remember, but when I do give enough planned notice, the turnout is FABULOUS! We had 14 people go on the Slimy Crud Run with us because I sent out some emails, planned the ride, and sent out directions. If anyone from belle city want to be put on the same email list for rides, just email me at mackay dot steve at gmail dot com. As CJ can attest to, ANYONE is welcome on our rides. We're very informal. | ||

Steve I hope Jason comes around as well.Jaso and I had a long heart to heart on this 2 years ago and its a matter of burnout.I see things and view them as a on going problem as a whole with the whole club not anyone person and you know that is true of what I'm saying Jason.Jason and I have spoken many times and many sittings over crappy Chinese food,some great Pizza's and the list goes on.We always hoped for all are club members to come up with ride idea's with no provail.Jason I have really tried but quite frankly its rough.This forum though can make things sound alot uglier then they are. | ||

Jason you make it sound as though everything has rested on you. That is bullcrap and you know it. I have done plenty for this club over the years. You and I decided 2 years ago during elections we were not gonna run again well we did.Why? Because nobody would step up and take the reigns so we did again to keep the club alive.Bet the other members don't realize that about us.I just can't do this anymore. My feelings of being a officer actually mirror yours. Its called burnout.Long time running for me.Tell ya what I'm going to do.I'm staying on until elections thats it. Then I'm done. Wow  I just got home from a class I'm taking for work.....WHAT happened here? This is definitely a "storm front"  and its all about riding....... I'm just glad to meet friends,spend time with everyone and "share" a common interest we have- BUELLS- Hope to see/ride with this upcoming and many more rides/trackdays/races/FUN........  | ||

Oh just a comment as a past pres, past vice pres, past board member and vice pres elect for 06 of the bike club in Ottawa, you CAN'T control the weather. So tryin to plan events is a challenge, you set a date, if you can make it -great-, if the weather doesn't cooperate, well thats the unknown. At least all we are trying to do is ride together, you should have sanction fees, insurance, ambulance, porta potti's, food, advertising,try to get members to help, the list goes on and on, right Dana? So the Belle City group is planning a ride Saturday right? Hope to see everyone there, even if ya just stop at the beginning and say hi, or catch the group at the end just to see everyone. Hey everyone, Buell groups/clubs are small, it’s going to be informal and there will be times when the meetings are empty, just how it is. We survive because we accept that and as long as everyone stays in touch it stays together somehow. Tolerance is the key, you have to tolerate folks being different, different schedules, riding likes and dislikes, and different personalities and quirks !! Enjoy your rides and enjoy the company, and if there’s no one but you then enjoy your own company !! I wish everyone would just delete their posts, and hope it’s deleted from everyone’s mind there’s no point in coming back later when everyone will feel better about themselves again and have it here in the archives forever, just wipe the slate clean !??? Take a break, don’t make any decisions at all right now, skip a month or 2 of meetings, then decide what you want to do !!?? Take a break from each other, hey one day you may wake up (maybe even not until next summer) and think I’d like to call so and so and go riding with them !! Your all good people, all different, and I believe any mean comments you don’t really mean you’re just upset and frustrated !! Andrea, no way I believe you mean what you posted about these girls, your girlfriends, you must really feel hurt to post something like that !! | ||

Well, it's really nice to see that we've resorted to name calling now....  I would like to simply re-state that my initial post yesterday was intended to address a need in this club: posting about rides--stating dates and time. I wish it could have been left at that. I think a lot of this has needed to come out, and while it sucks right now, it might be a good thing. I would also like to re-state a post from the other day: "If anyone is interested in taking a ride, give me a call." I sincerely mean that to any and all who have bikes and who sincerely enjoy riding them. The entire meaning of this club has gotten lost in the shuffle, and it is a shame. I am looking forward to riding with any and all who join in this weekend. Jason may be gone on Sunday, but if somebody would like to ride then, please let me know. CJ~I would like to say Thank You for being a neutral and supportive voice during this chaotic episode. I do hope that we can all move forward now, it whatever direction that may be, and act like adults. Afterall, that is who the DMV endorsed to ride these things that we all love so dearly..Let's ride on, ladies and gents.... | ||

Well now, doesn't seem like there will be anymore meetings, now does it. What has been posted above only proves my point. At least to me anyway. People take stuff much too much to heart. I personally am afraid of NO ONE here and I sure hope no one is afraid of me as far as how I will react to not knowing about a ride that came up as a last minute thing. Bothers me not in the slightest. Letting trivial stuff like this ruin a friendship to me seems kind of dumb. Andrea, I don't know why you think no one likes you or is avoiding you. I've posted many times with no response from people. I thought of the "Belles at the Dells" ride and CJ said it sounded Gay! I know people aren't avoiding you, Karri's standing here right now and said" I wonder when we invite them over if they'll tell us to F()ck off?" Did Dana mention that when I talked to him last time we were going to ask you two, your kids, Heather, Jason and Will to come over for pizza? I know Dana called last night and I missed the call. I was going to call him back, but my Mom called from Atlanta. I haven't spoken with her since the Murder Trial ended so I never got a chance to call Dana back. Am I avoiding him?? NO! Just got tied up. No one owes anyone anything here. All I can offer is my friendship. Take it or leave it. That goes for everyone here. | ||
